I huffed rolling my eyes. "Talk about me as if I'm not here" I muttered "I like where your head is" Malcolm said nodding "I wanna watch a movie. Where are the CDs?" I asked standing up "In my room under the nightstand" Nathan said to me. I turned on my heel walking into the room over to the nightstand. The CDs were there stacked neatly so I grabbed them looking through them for awhile then I saw a movie called 'Why did I get married' and another called 'Diary of a Mad Black Woman'. I took them both turning on the TV then set up the DVD player as well. After putting the CD in, I went for some snacks seeing Malcolm editing his video he made today while Nathan was on the porch watching the rain

Oh God, now. I open one eye a chink and get an eyeful of beige duvet. Ah yes. I remember the beige duvet from last night. Silver Lake was the next town over, where they had a mall and an actual air-conditioned movie theater with four screens instead of nothing but a lame drive-in. The thought of the movie theater gave Miranda an idea. “Hey, you want to go to a movie?” “Nothing playing here except that kiddie movie and the one about the old people,” Tad said. “Not here,” Miranda said. “Silver Lake. I pulled the door of my vehicle open, put the top down and spun out of there as quick as I could.
