If she wanted to escape, she needed a plan. A circle was formed and two girls took the stage. Roxie watched with curiosity as they bared their teeth at each other animalistically, their eyes gleaming. It was like watching a supernatural movie and Roxie was part of the characters. The girls circled each other, looking for a chance to attack the other and in a wink, they were at each other's throat but the fight was over as soon as it started as one of the girl flipped the other hard on the ground, Roxie swore she would never be able to recover from that. Kaizen said no injuries! Were they going against that?

"Stuff some more trash in there. Trash deserves a trash can for a locker." At noon I went to the locker room to change my shoes. I had just come through the door when I saw Venetia and a few other rich girls throwing garbage into my locker. It was packed so full the door would not close. The girl's voice was totally normal, but I hoped like hell that laugh had been created from nerves and wasn't here to stay. Otherwise, Roxie and I were going to have to talk. "Roxie's girlfriend."

************************************************ MAX'S POV I ran with all my might to Loretta's Garden, the clearing nearest to the Moon Castle, and the sight that befell me was terrible. I saw Amelia in her wolf form, large and majestic but with a cruel expression as she pummeled May, who was also in her wolf form. Beside Amelia, May's wolf looked small and was clearly losing the fight against Amelia. May's wolf had stopped moving, and yet Amelia's wolf was still pummeling her. At this point, I knew if I didn't intervene, Amelia would kill May. So, I shifted into my own wolf and ran towards Amelia.

I gasped at the sight of a gigantic creature, which skin was in black entirety and a body which was rough as a stone. “What the hell is that?!” My chest paced, knowing it had been coming to attack me. “Spirit moles!” she exclaimed, swaying her hands at it, while it shrieked in agony. It turned into ashes slowly, before evaporating into the thin air. “You saved me, why? Where you following me?” “We have to flee now, Maya! Common!” she said, running while I followed instantly. “Why?!” “We just eliminated one of her babies. She’s going to come for us, thanks to its screams.” Trixie replied.

'He's going to kill me now. He smiled. "You don't have to look so scared." "I feel like I should be," Mika admitted. "Oh, because of the arm thing?" he asked. "That was nothing. Milo has healing powers so he will sort it all out at some point. When he can be bothered." That wasn't the reason why she was scared, but she decided to go with it. "Milo?" she asked. "My friend," He nodded. "That kid is your friend?" she asked.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, horrified. My hair looked like a bird’s nest hit by a storm, and my left eye, somehow was larger than the right. Maybe from all that screaming. Or maybe from the nightmare called Hugo, the human koala who had used me as his favorite sleeping pillow all night. I took a deep breath. Okay. I still had a shred of dignity left. One or two percent, at most.

“Like maybe go suck some dicks like you always do? It might improve your personalities. Or at least give you something productive to do with your mouths.” One of the girls rolled her eyes. “Stay out of it, Mia. We’re just having a chat with the pack's slut.” “It looks like a real engaging conversation,” Mia shot back, not backing down an inch. “Three of you talking at one crying girl. You must be so proud of your winning personalities. Really top-of-the-pack material.” For a second I thought it would turn into a real fight as the girl's hands circled into fists. Mia dropped into a slight crouch and I saw the glint of her claws extending.

My eyes widen and I crawled backward picking up a pillow and putting it in front of me as a shield. The energetic boy that resembled a puppy stared at me with wide blue eyes and an open mouth and I saw Elijah staring off into space laying on his bed crossing his arms behind his head. "Is-is- t-that...i-is that a Giiiiirrrrlll?" The puppy boy stumbled upon his words screeching and he said the word 'girl' like it was some sort of disease. I blinked up at him and he broke out in a wide teeth-splitting grin.
