Three days ago, Miranda received a call from Winter. Her friend had finally completed the project she was working on, and Marshall had gone back to his hometown for the winter break. Winter slept for two days straight. Feeling bored, she asked Miranda to join her on a trip on a whim. "As for our destination…" Winter stroked her chin. " Let's go to Marvedis." Miranda gave it a brief thought before agreeing with Winter's suggestion. "Okay." Besides trying to avoid the commotion Sam and Hansel had stirred, she also wanted to have a good rest.

Ten years passed. For long-lived werewolves, it was the blink of an eye. For Axel, it was 3,650 days and nights of burning in hell.
