I replied with a roll of my eyes. Alpha Cadell held a ball in his very fancy, and extremely huge, mansion. He said it was a celebration for his arrival at the new town. The city has never been this cold but today it's like ice water winds and not just the wind even the weather here is cold due to the river water. "Woahh." When the winter winds come, we’ll barely see the sun, and just a moment outside can leave you frozen.” Triana glanced at Vlador with a deep sigh. He nodded slightly in response. “You’re right. We should make the most of our time,” Vlador said, rising from his seat. “Thank you for your hospitality.”

He then spoke again, “Ms. Plath, please come to the police station with me to record your statement.” Summer nodded as she wiped her hands. “Bill, please.” “I’ve already paid for you. Let’s go.” Casper stood up. He took out a cigarette from his pocket. “Officer Synder, is the winter in Mountain City as cold as the one here?” Summer whispered in a profound manner. “Mountain City is a northern city. There are heated floors indoors in winter. That keeps us warm.” Casper glanced at Summer and knew that she did not want him to stay.
