He sits up immediately, his expression innocently guilty. “I promise it’s just a few questions this time.” “Ask now, before I change my mind.” I tease. “Who is the hybrid?” He asks, those large eyes peering up at me through the darkness. I wait for my body to still as it always does at the sound of him, but it doesn’t. That’s a good sign. “No one knows what he looks like,” I respond calmly. “But they say he is part vampire and part werewolf.” “And he killed you papa.” He says quietly.

he said over his shoulder, clenching my jaw I just ignored him. I had chopped a hefty pile of wood which should last me at least two weeks, winter was creeping in and soon we would be knee deep in snow, I had allot of work to do before that happened to ensure I had enough to get us through. Looking up toward the cabin door I wiped away the sweat from my forehead before steadily making my way toward it, I needed a shower, it was nearly ten in the morning and I wondered if Laya had finally consumed the blood I had left on the kitchen table for her, she was a hybrid, half vampire and half werewolf, at least I assumed she knew that about herself, after what she said earlier however, I wasn’t too

Pressing her ear against it, she could hear whispering. "I got word from a friend I made on my travels. The Grey Mountain Pack I do believe, then again I could be wrong. I don't keep up with the pack's names and borders. I was surprised to hear that a hybrid was not only in a pack but possibly the mate to the alpha! Now I find out not only is it true, but you are also a hybrid. So, I've decided to help a fellow hybrid out. You're welcome." Sarcasm laced those two little words. Vicky was making it harder and harder to trust or even like her.

' my inner thought reminded me, "Fuck!" He growled, and my eyes widened, he was getting weak and it seemed that he was outnumbered, a sudden surge of power coursed through his veins. With a roar, he unleashed the full extent of his hybrid abilities, his eyes blazing with light as he unleashed a devastating wave of energy that sent the remaining hybrid flying backward in a tangled heap.

Ward’s shoulders tensed before turning to face me with surprise and shock on his face, “Groban, she needs to feed right now! Hybrids cannot go that long without feeding, and with her injuries she endured the other night… Son, she’s dying,” The words shocked me into action as I immediately took a step toward her, Ward placed his hand against my arm as he stood up, looking straight past me as he frowned,

Selene said, I kissed her to shut her up; the second I pulled away, I grabbed her face and smiled, “That was incredible!” I told her, “You really are a powerful witch.” Amber said, “A powerful witch with little control.” Grandfather told her, I stared at him for a moment, “What do you mean?” I asked, he sat us all down as he began to explain, “A half blood witch isn’t too powerful, but still enough to be a little scared of. A full blooded witch, if terrifying and is definitely someone to fear. But a hybrid,” he looked at Selene, “There’s never been a hybrid witch of all three: a werewolf, a vampire, and a witch. Not to mention having witches in both bloodlines.”

I ask with a glare. “She’s the most special kind of hybrid there is and the only one in existence. She is a white wolf with golden eyes as I presume you are as well given your eye color. You are the only two in existence and it’s quite amazing how you ended up being mates. Luna is also a witch and the demon queen.” Amelia says and I notice Luna flinch at her words out of the corner of my eye.
