My mate's betrayal
I nodded, but I was still afraid.
I fell asleep peacefully, and when I woke up, Izan was waiting for me with a tray of food, so we had a leisurely breakfast, talked about the latest updates, and finally I went to see Aisha. When I entered the room, she was sitting up, eating solids while telling her mother that everything was delicious.
When Aisha saw me, she stopped eating and smiled.
“Thank you,” she said, and I smiled back.
“We're friends, in a strange way, but we are, and that's why I wasn't going to let you die,” I said firmly, and she bowed her head. “Everything's going to be okay, I promise.”
