Overnight Magnate

Overnight Magnate

One by one, martial artists of momentous fame and repute all around Corynthea arrived: Master Athos from the Camelot Order, Master Thorfinn, also known as "The Sparrow", of the Kravfrinten Order, Mistress Maude of the Sophia Order, the Knights of Ferrum, the Bennettoites, the Sigurdssons of East Ninna, the Ferdinands of Skaldia… The existence of a common enemy made all of them bedfellows seething for the same cause.

Sound of Silence

Sound of Silence

He got curious then he saw the annoying Kinsley getting picked on by one of his friends and three others his age. Punch one of them, you fool. Skylar did not get why he would be saying that. He's all 'ingenious' and 'fast' during his training with Ivan. But look at him when faced with real threat. Just standing there balling his fists and not actually putting his skills into action. That's dumb. The next thing Kinsley did however, surprised Skylar. The four musketeers he called them, were also too shocked to run after the pale boy. Skylar saw Kinsley shift while running, leaving his clothes in tatters on his way.

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

“Amitabha. You are chosen, child. You are destined for greatness.” The samurai scoffed. “He’s still in the foundational stage, and you’re already praising him.” The monk replied calmly, “At least let us introduce ourselves.” The robed man spoke. “My name is Balthasar.” The monk bowed slightly. “Amitabha. I am Abhaya.” The samurai spoke arrogantly. “Yamato.” “We are the Masters of this plane,” they said together. “The Three Musketeers.” Their voices shook the entire dimension.

Trouble-Makers

Trouble-Makers

She's about to call Elyra out on her staring, but then a classmate's name caught both of their attention. "Alexandria Mystikov." The girl — guy? — person has a cat-like grin on their lips, their hair is a messy mop of black. They're wearing the academy's trousers and tie for boys, but their shirt suggested that they're not flat. Mr. Zallik paused a bit at the introduction. Anybody would. The Mystikov family has been around for decades, and saying their name sparks controversies. Just being related to the family is enough to get anyone out of trouble with the law.

The fact that he was so calm and collected, reassured me that he was strong. "You be careful out there," the plaid shirt guy said. "You don't want to get too close to those mutts." I felt Hunt's fingers tighten around mine. "You mean the wolves?" he said icily. Plaid shirt frowned at Hunt. "Yeah, those dirty mutts. I don't care for any fancy names for those killers." "We have to go," I chimed in as Hunt dug his nails into my palms. "We really not in town for long."

Mate's Revenge

Mate's Revenge

My heart swelled with love for the man who knew what I needed without me saying anything. A rustle behind the bushes caused my ears to prick, I stood up, my body tense and alert. I could feel Astrid growling and I knew that whatever was in those bushes wasn't something friendly. Three men came out wearing menacing masks but their body language told me that they were terrified. I wondered if they were part of the challenge, to act as obstacles blocking me from making my way back with the treasure. “It's just as she said, the Luna is here defenseless." One of the guys cackled.

The Witch Luna

[Third POV] “Mom, Dad, you have to promise that you will come to River Bed Pack to see our three musketeers,” Agatha pouted like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum over candy. “Oh, sweetheart, we won't miss it for the world,” Lily hugged her tightly, and Herod patted her shoulder before planting a kiss on the crown of her head.

The Alphas Hunt

The Alphas Hunt

Blue and yellow strings swirled together in an oval-shaped light that made up a tunnel through which they stepped like they had any right. Derek and Augustine stepped out wearing their usual black fitted leather coats and the golden emblem sewn onto their chests showed just how old those fuckers were. You only got that double triangle-shaped emblem once you’d shown complete devotion and loyalty to the Council for over fifty years and they always started out as warriors. Behind them were three younger men, dressed in the uniform of the Dark Guard. The light was swallowed behind them and the portal closed. “Where’s the third musketeer?” I grinned.

The book was great. The first section was quite disturbing & I almost stopped reading it. I'm glad I persevered as the twists & turns, as well as the character development, made it compelling & worthwhile.

There are A LOT of spelling mistakes at first, and trust me, I almost stopped reading because I was so irritated. But I’m SO GLAD I stuck with it because the storytelling and character dev is so good!! There are still spelling mistakes throughout, but much less frequent. Can’t wait for book 2!!!

“And what about Justin? Are you forgetting he is soon to be Alpha in his pack?’’ I countered, matching the tone of her voice. “Don't act like you and I are the same alondra. You are the daughter of a commoner. You exist to struggle. your hands are built for pain and work. I am not like you. I have a chance to make things better for myself. you are ever a cursed with this miserable existence.’’ Bethany retorted. “And besides, it’s not like anyone would ever want you.’’ Justin added, Swimming rudra proud to stand with Bethany. I couldn't understand them even if I wanted to. they were mean for no reason. “ Perhaps the both of you do deserve each other!’’ I spat.
