“Really?” She scoffs a laugh, voice louder than she could recognize as she lists all her wrongdoings, insisting that, no matter how much they disagreed, she was just as guilty. “Because as far as I can recall, I’m the one who’s screwed him over every step of the way. I’m the one who rejected him and then called off our marriage only to go and marry another man- a stranger over my best friend. And then, when we finally make up and reconnect, I go and get us arrested. How is that not my fault?”
Before either men get a chance to respond, the three are startled by a shriek.
