She sounded desperate… angry. “What’s happening to me?” I whispered, trembling. “Who was that voice? Why did she say I’m her future self?” I gripped my hair, trying to think, but the harder I tried, the worse my headache became. “She said she’s the present and I’m the future… but how can that be possible? I’m real! I’m not anyone’s future!” I tried to use my power to make sense of it all, but everything suddenly went black for a few seconds. When I opened my eyes again, the air shifted; someone had just teleported into the room.
