I did a little twirl in the middle of the room and started combing the bookshelves to see what treasures I could find. I was just too excited to have found this place. I came across a smaller leather-bound book that had a weird symbol on the front and when I opened it, I realized that it was a history of the Hunter's. I decided to keep that book just in case I needed it. I was totally in my own world when I felt someone’s arms go around me and breath in my ear. "I see you found my favorite place in the house." My body shivered at the contact. I thought that I was going to melt into a puddle right then and there.

I did not rush to shut down the "Goddess Hunter" server. Instead, through a backdoor I had left behind when I analyzed the code earlier, I quietly prepared a brand new module I had already written. I named it "Scumbag Hunter." I sorted all the evidence of his academic fraud, along with the videos and photos of his cheating, into categories and packaged everything together. Then, I turned it all into "Hunting Quests." - After I finished everything, I checked the time.

I laugh at her before taking a deep breath. “I wish to see Hunter Ysrael of the Cruelcrest Hounds Pack,” I whisper and it seemed like my words were carried by the butterflies into the wind as the wind whistled and rustled through the trees circumvallating us. The next moment I saw the water in the river ripple before my reflection in the water distorts to show Hunter standing in what looks like a mini-library. My heart thuds at the mere sight of him. Realizing how Goddess I miss him so much, and when I saw him in that sexy tight button-up shirt and leather pants I felt myself getting wet.

It was probably a death sentence to disobey him. Instead I pulled out the book he had given me. It was like he wanted me to learn about our kind, my kind. It all centred around werewolves. History, packs, families and the mate bond. I had always been against reading anything to do with werewolves. It was all a load of crap. I didn’t belong in a pack. But it didn’t stop my curiosity. I had only shifted a handful of times. Choosing to keep my inner wolf at bay. I hated how it hurt. The aches afterwards lasted days. Sometimes sickness would come too, like my own body rejected who I was.

There is also a lot of people wandering around. He walks towards the bookstall when a book catches his attention. Kasper frowned upon reading its title, The Devil Werewolf. "Oh, hello there! You must be interested in mythical creatures. Are you going to buy that book?" asked an old man, who seemed to be the seller. "Yes," he just said. The seller tells him the price and Kasper immediately pays for it. After Kasper bought the book, he find a place that can be a seat. He also uses his mind link to tell Flint his whereabouts, it wasn't far from the place where Flint buys food.

He straightens. "Doesn't matter right now. What matters is I've read about this in my father’s bestiary. The far-shelf books, the ones he calls a waste of paper because they're not local. Small. Lives in water. Webbed hands. Drags people by the ankle. Obsessed with... hold on." He stops and turns to me with an expression I've never seen him wear on a hunt. He looks delighted. Noah Hunter. Delighted when I’m not fucking him. Mark the calendar.

JESSICA The forest was silent, too silent. The moon hung above like a watchful eye, painting the world in silver and shadow. I swung my blade again and again, each strike slicing through the air with desperate precision. Sweat clung to my skin and burned, but I didn't stop. I couldn’t bring myself to stop because all I could think of was revenge. It was ringing in my mind like a bell. Every breath was a reminder of the day the werewolves came. They had taken everything from me. My family, my joy. All that I have left was my uncle and my wonderful friend Mel. My uncle taught me how to fight, how to hide, and how to hate.
