My First Reading Library Usborne Novels & Stories

Zoe's POV: I'm Zeo Lupine, a freshman student at Ryard University of San Diego. Short and robust with pretty face. I walked into the school's gigantic library for the first time and I was marveled by the sight the loomed before me. The library , a magnificent space with towering shelves of books, soft reading nooks, and large oak tables, bathed in the gentle glow of reading lamps that cast a warm, inviting atmosphere. I took my seat in a secluded corner, surrounded by rows of ancient books, each whispering its own story. The library had always been a sanctuary for me, a place where I could lose myself in the world of words.

Kendra sat in the library with the book, The Hobbit, opened on her lap. When Rex had first shown the room that was lined with books to her, she’d been both intimidated and overwhelmed. She was taught to read by Olga, but the availability of reading material was limited. Therefore, her reading skills were wanting.

I noticed the books the moment I entered the library. They occupied an entire shelf that had been empty days ago, their spines too new, too clean, too deliberately chosen to belong to the house’s original collection. Pale colors. Muted pastels. Whites softened with greys and blush tones meant to reassure rather than inform. Pregnancy. Birth. Motherhood. Infant development. Natural routines. Emotional bonding. Titles rounded at the edges, language designed to soothe instead of warn, to promise continuity instead of rupture.

Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

I watch amused as her forehead creases, she’s thinking hard and the smile as she takes the copy of Sam Wu is Not Afraid of Ghosts. “I like the cover.” Her eyes are bright and full of curiosity. “Thank you,” mouths the mother as the girl starts going through the illustrations on the back. “Say goodbye to Ms. Rebecca.” “Goodbye, and thank you, Ms. Rebecca.” She runs ahead clutching her new favorite toy for the next couple of days. My best customers these days are the small children that every other day for reading time. We sit in a circle and grab a few books to read out loud. Right now we are reading together Argh! There’s a Skeleton Inside You! and they are loving it. The children's section

"See ya later kiddo!" I inhaled deeply at the smell of fresh books in the library. I love reading books. Magical and adventurous books are my favorite. And I don't think it's a bad idea to follow Aubrey's advice of reading books. I don't need to worry about anything or be angry at anyone because James would tell me everything at night. I picked up the first book that caught my eyes and it turned out to be my favourite.

I softly smiled at them and closed the door. With Frederick assisting Uncle, I was left alone to wander around the house, and what better way to kill the time than to read books. So, my main target was finding the library. After a few dead-ends, I finally found what I was looking for. There's no surprise, the library was huge as well. I trailed my hands on the hard-bound books. Novels, grimoires, Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson.

Pov Layla Flashback “Mom! Mom! I found a book in the library with a big black wolf on the cover! Is it about us?” The little girl rushed into her mother’s lap, clutching a book no bigger than her two hands, and proudly placed it on the dining table of their large family room. “Can we read it?” she asked, her voice filled with bright hope. “Of course, my angel. Open the first page.” The little girl obeyed eagerly, discovering a title written in strange swirling letters across the center of the page.

"Thank you." Next came Marcus's gift.The room became unusually quiet as Lily opened the large box.Inside were dozens of children's books.Storybooks,picture books,science books.Books about stars, oceans, animals, history, and imagination.There was even a small wooden bookshelf Marcus had built himself. Lily smiled warmly."I should have known."Marcus adjusted his glasses."Reading encourages curiosity."Jesse leaned toward Daniel and whispered loudly enough for everyone to hear,"The baby's library is already bigger than ours."Marcus nodded proudly."I planned ahead."Everyone laughed again.

Charlie The first open archway off the hall opened up into what looked like a library of mismatching bookshelves holding paperbacks in varying stages of disrepair. Some were missing covers and others were torn or stained or both. Area rugs of all different materials and color were scattered across the floor, as were a variety of bean bags. There were four kids reading and none of them looked up at me when I poked my head in. I kept walking.
