He only smiled at me and then watched me go to the kitchen. As I turned towards the kitchen, a melody bubbled up from within. I began humming the tune of "Ghost" by Justin Bieber. Maverick POV. I’m all partied out. Melody is on a sugar high and is running round like an overactive squirrel on a massive energy boost. A shiver ran down my spine, and my lips parted as an unfamiliar yet achingly familiar melody pushed its way to the surface. My eyes flew open as a surge of energy coursed through me, powerful enough to lift my arms of their own accord. And then, without conscious thought, I began to sing. The first note was shaky, uncertain. But as the sound left my lips, it took on a life of its own, flowing effortlessly from me like water finding its way downstream. The melody was ancient; it poured from my lips as naturally as breathing, ancient words in a language I shouldn't know but somehow did. My voice rang clear and true in the quiet clearing, each note perfectly pitched and resonating with power.

Melody’s POV my head felt like it was splitting in two, the voices not halting for even a second. I woke up dazed and confused; a massive headache pounding away in my head. I slowly sat up and put my feet over the side of the bed, needing to use the restroom really badly. When I hopped up, my feet fell onto soft earth and not carpet.

How quickly all that went away. I pushed a few keys, the notes soft in the quiet room. Then I adjusted to sit well, cracking my fingers a little, and started playing. The melody of *River Flows in You* by Yiruma filled the room slowly. My fingers moved across the keys, a little hesitant at first, but the familiar notes came back to me. The song felt gentle, almost sad, like it was carrying all the memories I tried not to think about. I closed my eyes for a bit, letting my fingers find their way, the music soft and flowing.

I may be going crazy but lets face it I am way pass that point by now but I think hear a melody. ‘Oh Moon if you have any bright ideas it would greatly be appreciated right now’ It felt like hours had gone by that I eventually start to hum the melody. Come to think of it, it does seem familiar and I start to get louder but I can’t put words to it. The tornado starts to change colors from grey to white and then to silver. It starts to sparkle and the tornado starts to flicker in and out. White room, water, white room, fire, white room , earth, white room and then nothing. My body feels as if it is being pulled in different directions and I eventually pass out.

I'm clubbing like this is my last night on Earth, but I think that's just the way my mind avoids thinking about the hangover to come. The music moves me like I'm a puppet on strings , my head mashing so hard my brain is in shut down mode. There's so much sweet on my skin and not all of its mine. The strobe masks so many of my movements,every clap 9f my hands like it's on pause at different movements. Tomorrow they'll be hell to pay but tonight the alcohol keeps on flowing in like it's on IV drip.
