The Alpha gasped, his eyes wide with disbelief.
He choked out a laugh, wet with blood.
“You… you won’t kill me,” he mocked Stephan. “You don’t have it in you, boy.”
“Watch me.” Stephan’s snarl was guttural, broken, furious.
And with a savage pull, Stephan ripped his father’s heart from his chest. Blood sprayed across his face, warm and steaming, painting his skin scarlet.
The Alpha’s body hit the dirt with a heavy thud, blood soaking the ground. Stephan stood there, chest heaving, his father’s heart still in his fist.
