For a moment, it looked like the fight was already over. But then something unexpected happened. A strange pulse of energy suddenly rushed through the clearing. Aria gasped. Another one waited in my pocket, just in case. Just in case, if you lose control, you’re dead. Publicly, this place was called the World Hockey Academy—a factory for champions, Olympians, prodigies. Cameras loved it. Sponsors poured money into it. Parents bragged about it. Privately, it was something else entirely. Alpha Academy. An institution built to break wolves and rebuild them stronger. A hierarchy carved in blood, sweat, and enchanted ice. The rink beneath my feet was warded to withstand supernatural force—so Alphas could hit harder, skate faster, and fight without restraint.

All they basically did was train and foster a great team work among themselves. Normally, when students were 13-14 years of age, they voluntarily signed up for the Hero-League exam. An exam that allowed the Sequins (that's the major heads in the Hero League) to find out which teenager had the capabilities needed for a true hero. This exam was called the Thriox.

She had to protect her pup. Using the very last ounce of her strength, Amora rolled off the leather sofa. Her feet hit the cold floor, her knees buckling instantly, but she caught herself on the doorframe. She dragged her weak body out into the dust-filled hallway. The sight made her blood run cold. Oscar was pinned on his back, his face covered in blood, his breathing ragged as he struggled to keep Duncan’s claws away from his throat. Duncan was hovering over him like a demon, his silver eyes glowing with a mindless, murderous intent, his hand drawn back for a final, lethal strike to Oscar's neck.

’ Rey suspected the answer was likely “Yes.” If the Oculus could detect people like Adonis, who had [The Hero]—an S-Tier Class—why wouldn’t it be able to detect his humble B-Tier Class? That item was definitely stronger than his ability to resist Appraisals. ‘I doubt we won’t encounter the Oculus again…’ If Rey had to guess, he would say that there would come a time when students would be brought before the Oculus again to see if they had advanced a Class. ‘It will be… problematic… if my new Class is discovered.’

The two admission officers from Cloudtop Academy were stunned when they saw this scene. Derick smirked and snorted at Lucas, "Are you trying to be a hero? Joanna is being accused of having joined forces with a Dark Race." Derick and Luna had never expected such an outcome whereby Lucas would still want to be a hero. However, one required tremendous ability if they were to be a hero. After all, they were going to have to face the entire Cloudtop Academy. Lucas remained calm as he let out a faint smile. Then, while the entire crowd from Confluence College was still in a daze, Lucas activated his Hundred Heavenly Steps and got up to the stage in a split second.

His eyes adjusted to a dark stormy gray as his black shaggy hair fell to his collarbone. “Sorry I have really poor vision in my shark form. I could smell the scent of sea witch on you, and came to investigate. Especially since I smelled royal blood nearby too.” He explained. “Oh that would be me.” Helena raised her finger. “I’m a Nox.” I forget that Uncle Kellan is related to a siren queen and king. “We attend the Academy in the west. You’re smelling my friend.” Nova explained. She was talking about Manny. Why did she smell so much like him that a shark could pick it up? What was she doing before she saw Ares?

He didn't have the courage to look at her bare chest due to her v-neck top and quickly looked at the opposite direction. Emma, pretending to have just realized the results of her silly action, moves away. "Sorry about that, teehee." She acts cutely and imitates the common actions of a kawaii girl on shoujo animes. **** Zen Alfonso finished typing on his laptop and had the document printed out. He went ahead and leaves the department. But before he rides the elevator, he sees Emma doing heart poses with her arms for him and even going as far as to wink at him repetitively.
