Broken Innocence

Broken Innocence

After her death, I am understanding how much wrong I was. I am looking at the burned farmhouse intensely. It's completely destroyed by that fire explosion which happened here 3 years ago. Every concrete of this house is burned now. This whole place looked like some kind of ghost house. I touched one of the burned bricks and remembered Meher's innocent face. I closed my eyes and felt like she is in front of me. Her those innocent eyes, that innocent smile, that maddeningly intoxicating scent are still fresh inside my head.

A very good book and what impressed me is that the author put effort in writing 2 ending as people like me go for the realistic one but teenagers still want happy go lucky stuff .it was a refreshing dark experience i crave so thankyou very much ...️

I love the story and both endings, but you could have combined both with Meher making a name for herself independently, then introducing Sehreyar to the Mehmet and giving him a chance to be a father and better person. she got her justice but she became the devil by taunting him and taking his kids.

Burying My Innocence

Burying My Innocence

After some time, he exited the app without sending anything. He then started scrolling on his phone instead. The ground around him was littered with ash and discarded cigarette butts. I could tell that he was deeply unsettled. But what exactly was he so frustrated about? I was gone, and he got to be under the same roof as his dearly beloved. Wasn't this exactly what he wanted? As I stood on the balcony, staring blankly at the moon, the sound of a news broadcast drifted out from somewhere. "The police received a call from passersby. A woman's body was found in the city moat by a local fisherman. The estimated time of death was three days ago. No one has claimed her body yet."

YOU WILL NEVER BE MY GOD, FELIX.

YOU WILL NEVER BE MY GOD, FELIX.

"I... I was wrongly accused of a crime I know nothing about. The prosecution's claims are baseless, and I assure you, I had nothing to do with the alleged incident. I've lived a law-abiding life, and I have always respected the law. I don't know what happened. The prosecution's evidence is circumstantial at best, and it doesn't prove anything. I'm confident that after reviewing the evidence, you'll see that I'm telling the truth. I'm innocent, and I deserve justice.” "But…” I paused, smiling sadly. “I... I don't think I'm going to convince you. The evidence, although circumstantial, seems to be pointing towards me. (sighs) I guess it's over. I've said all I can, and it's now in your hands.

THE LAST SAFE WORD

THE LAST SAFE WORD

Behind us the auction house burned (someone had lit it for insurance, or for us, or because some fires just know when it’s time). We disappeared into the city before the sun came up. He never collared me. He never needed to. I had already said yes. And somewhere in the chaos, between gunshots and monsoon rain, I laughed (manic, alive, terrified) because the word we invented in a lighthouse when we were seventeen had just become the most expensive safe word in history. Pomegranate. He stopped running long enough to kiss me against a wall while the world caught fire behind us.

THE LAST LETTER

THE LAST LETTER

"No one may leave until the trial is complete." Marcus' confident smile disappeared for the first time. "What?" Oliver slowly smiled. "My father built this room." "He always had one final surprise." Then another message echoed through the chamber. "Truth will judge the guilty." "Only the innocent shall leave." Emma felt a chill run down her spine. Whatever the Carter family had built beneath this estate... It was far more dangerous than any of them had imagined. The ancient voice echoed once again through the underground chamber. "Truth will judge the guilty."

The Innocence Is Gone

The Innocence Is Gone

He was talking as if I was a Saint. Wait, I was a Saint. It was true, I never made mistakes. I had never attended a single college party. I was always on time to get to class and I did my homework perfectly and submitted it on time if not the first one. I never even had a boyfriend or friends. I guess that had to do with me being a nerd. I mean, it is college, where everyone wants to have fun and I am not....fun. I was quiet and as most people would describe me, naive and nerdy. People like me were termed as boring.

A Gift from the Goddess

A Gift from the Goddess

"Eight years from now I get wrongfully convicted of poisoning Aleric's mistress and causing a miscarriage. The pack condemns me and in my final moments, I die here alone, scared and in pain... and at the hands of my own mate." "Who...?" I knew what he was asking. I turned to look at him, meeting his gaze so he could feel how genuine I was being about this. But it wasn't an unpleasant moment. It was the first time I'd been able to talk, or even think of the past, without immediately bawling my eyes out. Seems as though last night really had allowed me to make peace with it. "Aleric," I answered. "Just as the Elders predicted."

My new book “The Alpha’s Villainess” is now available to read. Please consider supporting me by taking a look, maybe even dropping a comment or gem! I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it so far :)

I just finished reading this story, and I have to say: I am speechless. This is the first story on this app that has completely captivated me. Finally, there are fresh, new plot elements—instead of the usual clichés you read on this app time and time again.

Our Last Fall

Our Last Fall

I wasn't as exceptional, but I had earned a decent reputation at the broadcasting station. Pretty much everyone assumed we were meant to be. No one realized the one he really cared about was the girl who had gone back to her hometown—his childhood sweetheart and the housekeeper's daughter, Celia Smith. "Don't go quiet on us. Is there some kind of misunderstanding? Don't do anything rash. I really think Sam cares about you…" Mr. Jameson babbled. "Alright, that's enough. Go somewhere else, would you?" Mr. Hall cut Mr. Jameson off before he could finish.

"Please comeback now, your name is cleared, it's proven that you are innocent about what happened seven years ago." "What?" Jate was confused. 'What on earth is this old man talking.' His expressions on his face cannot be explained. he's like being hit by tens of billions of volts by lightning strike from above. "Ha h h how could it be? Your just kidding me right granpa isn't it?...". He asked. "No, no, no no! Im not joking.." His grandpa replied. After hearing this, Jate couldn't imagine this. He even gave up his hope to clear his name because he was clueless, and not even know what to do to prove that he was innocent.

I’m done reading this book The last few chapters was a repeat chapter and that is so annoying. It’s not the first time or the last time I’m sure I’m over this book I really like it but not enough to just throw money away Good luck to the author but won’t be getting no more of my coins

Before I lost my old phone I had this app. and several books on it including this story. Unfortunately I have started rereading it and I'm a bit disappointed... Same story but somehow it reads like a little kid wrote it... Sorry but it's true.. Please fix the way it's edited and correct the mistake
