"What do you want me to do? Kill him? Exile the only person who can keep us from becoming permanent animals?" Elodie didn't flinch. She pressed her hand against his chest, her palm flat against his racing heart. "I want you to be the Alpha. Before there’s nothing left to lead." The girl was sitting by the tunnel entrance, throwing small stones at a dead rat. Malakai watched her from the shadows. She wasn't like the others. She wasn't kneeling. She wasn't crying. She wore a shredded denim jacket and boots held together with duct tape. Her hair was a messy nest of dark curls, and her eyes—sharp, observant—scanned the darkness with zero fear.

“I said I reject your rejection.” Levi looked completely stunned, his jaw dropping slightly. No one ever rejected an Alpha's rejection. But I didn't care. Not about him or anyone else. This was my life and I was going to fight for it. If this wolf thought that my human life was insignificant just because I wasn't the one he wanted to marry, then he was clearly out of his freaking mind.

I wish that I could grow big like Tank did, sigh this sucks big time! My arms drop and he asks me, "What's wrong, Little Alpha?" He removes his hand and sneak punch him in the gut, "Ha got cha!" He scowls holding his stomach, "Hey that was a cheap shot! Not cool!" He scolds me. Yeah, Yeah I know I sigh frustrated, "I wish that I was older and much bigger like you." I say with a huff. He gives me a puzzled look, "But you are bigger." I shake my head, "No that's your body, not mine. I'm still the same. Look at me!?" I say looking down at myself irritated, "I couldn't even be at my own Mating Ritual because I'm too young! This sucks!"

' my wolf howled in excitement. I extended my hand for a shake, "It's nice to meet you Alpha, my name is Jenna."

Maybe he won't rape me. "Hey little guy, calm down! I'm not going to hurt you!" I hear him say, but I don't believe him. I can see him and I can smell him... He's an Alpha! And all Alpha's lie. Alphas are mean, they lie and they hurt you. Then after they've hurt you, they hurt you more. They rape, beat and torture you until there's nothing left. And even then, once there's nothing left of you. They somehow managed to take more. They somehow managed to hurt you even more.

There came an alpha towards them. Alpha picked up that little boy in his arms and said " Alphas never cry, my boy. Stay strong and defeat your own crisis. Ok". By hearing his father the little boy nodded his head. Then the alpha raised his kid above his head and said " That's my pup". Then the boy giggled, the sweet omega seeing them with loved filled eyes.

Enough with the personal details and more working. "The Alpha is from a well respected and rather large pack up north. They allied with Father little over a month ago. He is unmated and maybe three years older than you are." Sophie informed me steadily. As it turned out, I was the only one who hadn't done anything of use regarding our new prisoner. Even Sophie knew more than I had. What an odd feeling, to not be of use. I nodded in her direction.

Algie whispered as we entered the office, catching the attention of the Alpha. "What's going on?" the Alpha asked. "That girl... what was her name again? I think she's a bit of a pervert," Algie remarked. "What?!" The Alpha seemed want to laugh by the comment. I couldn't contain my laughter, and Algie ignored me as he continued, "In her thoughts, she was curious about the size of my... well, you know, and whether it would fit in her mouth." He appeared annoyed, and the Alpha glanced at me, trying to suppress his own laughter.

A happier life. The smallest one sees us coming and quickly gets off her seat. She is no older than ten but so thin that she easily looks like an eighth-year-old. She runs to us, hugging Alarick around her waist tightly and closing her eyes with a huge smile. "Thank you, Alpha. You are the best alpha in the world," she says as she chokes up and cries.
