Sara made her face look smaller as she stared at him. It had been some time since she saw him, but all the memories came back to her. He made her days at work utterly unbearable, always looking for ways to bother and embarrass her. She wanted to escape him, so she quit and even he tried to block her path to a new employment.
As Franklin drew near to Sara, her feelings of anger and hatred came back. She tried to stand up straight, but her legs felt wobbly. "You followed me all the way here?" she slurred, her voice louder than she intended.
