I looked at his body, which was covered in bandages, and said gently, "Thank you for saving me."
He shook his head. "That was what I had to do."
After falling silent for a while, he asked softly, "Liv, have you seen my diary?"
I nodded.
"Do you still remember… those memories?" He looked at me with a conflicted look in his eyes.
I grinned. "Yeah, but it's over now."
He was stunned to hear this. "Over?"
"Yeah. Those were great memories, but they will remain just memories," I said with composure.
