It’s like a lusus naturae; a deformed human or something like that; It has a big head and big tentacles engulfing everywhere he walked through into darkness.” “See where it led.”

The darkness loomed around them like a cloak. Sekhmet carried an old-fashioned torch he pulled from a hole in the wall to light the way. It was a bit theatric and unnecessary, considering vampires and werewolves alike could see in the dark. But it set the mood for torture nicely; causing shadows to dance across the walls. A bleeding.

Every step was fraught with danger, and the air crackled with tension. As we neared our destination, a sudden realization struck me. The Shadows were not just an external threat. They had infiltrated our lives, entangling themselves in our past and present. We had unwittingly played into their hands, dancing to their tune without knowing the full extent of their control. The final confrontation loomed before us as we entered a vast chamber bathed in eerie blue light. The enigmatic leader of The Shadows stood before us, a figure shrouded in darkness, his identity concealed. His voice reverberated through the chamber, chilling our bones.

She knew it already but her thoughts turned all true just when she heard a loud sound ringing in the silent cabin the next second. *DASHH* The loud noise followed, making her alert this time. Her doubts turned all true. She looked towards the direction of the sound, which was right behind her in a second and there she saw a shadow of a huge tall and bulky built hiding behind the shelves. Her insides twisted looking at the sight but she wasn't able to see the face of the invader properly due to the dim lighting of the cabin. Her eyes widened in fear yet she gutted back to step ahead towards the invader in order to start fighting off.

Was Nightshade tampering with such forces? The Bloodmoon Pack House loomed ahead, its stone walls etched with runes that glowed faintly in the dawn light. Damien greeted them at the gate, his dark eyes narrowing at their disheveled state. “What happened?” “A creature attacked,” Mikhail said, his voice grim. “Unnatural, tied to the disturbances. Young women missing, older ones acting strangely—it’s all connected to Nightshade.” Aurora met his gaze, her silver-blue eyes resolute. "Whatever Nightshade’s doing, we’ll stop it.”

The Forest of Memories might have shown us the way, but the journey was far from over. The shadow stretched across the horizon, its form nebulous and constantly shifting. As it crept closer, a cold wind blew, sending chills down our spines and rustling the trees around us. "What is that?" Seraphina whispered, gripping my hand tighter. "I'm not sure," I admitted, trying to discern the shape. "But it doesn't feel... friendly." As if on cue, the shadow solidified, taking the form of a massive, dark creature with piercing red eyes. It let out a deafening roar that resonated through the forest, causing the very ground beneath us to tremble.

Malachi, eyes scanning the horizon, suddenly pointed, "There, in the distance! A shadow, out of place amidst this luminescence." The guardians followed his gaze, and indeed, a dark form seemed to be approaching, its energy clashing with the radiant vibes of the grove. Isolde, her instincts kicking in, said, "We need to intercept, and understand its intentions." Liora, holding out her hand, produced a gentle orb of light. "Let's use this to guide the shadow, lure it closer." The shadow, drawn to Liora's orb, began to take a more defined shape as it neared — a cloaked figure, its face hidden, emanating an aura of chaos and disruption.
