Whispers of the Void What Lurks Beneath the Abyss

Whispers of the Void What Lurks Beneath the Abyss

The black goo pooled near its feet as it slowly turned into the miasma. This massive monstrosity was being held by set massive chains. The chains were impaled all over its body impeding the monstrosity to move, the chains would clang, as the monstrosity tried to move and escape. As the monstrosity tried to escape the chains would then tighten squeezing out the part that was bound letting more black goo to seep out from the monstrosity, the monstrosity howled in pain and tried to raise its head upward only to suffer a punishment as the chains glowed and strange writing and symbol glowed from it, the chains then moved as if being pulled by something as the monstrosity was forced to kneel on th

Pregnant After One Night With The Lycan

He stumbles, and Marco has to catch him, holding him up right as his body weakens. “Barlow. Barlow steady, you alright,” says Caspian. The elderly man nods his head with closed eyes, trying to focus despite his body succumbing to the infection. But before he can fall too weak to the poison he relays to me exactly the type of black magic used to contaminate the water. ____________________ Third POV Although the werewolves now know which strand of black magic has poisoned the pack’s water source, there is another problem. Tanya would flick furiously through the notebook, setting down the open page onto one of the tables for the rest to see.

Irish Midsummer

Irish Midsummer

That was my first inclination that I wasn't daydreaming. There was a black hole here a second ago and it had disappeared in an instant. I had never seen anything like that in all my years. There were rumors of its existence within the realms but it was often considered as something that only existed in folklore, it was going to be hard to convince anyone that I had seen one. I lowered my gaze to the papers strewn on the floor and realized they were maps written in Blachurn. An ancient Blackwell language. Sitting on top of this stack was a map of the Brockbank realm which I snatched off the ground, peered at intently then rushed out of the library to my bedroom.

Alpha Kael And The Crimson Bloodline

Alpha Kael And The Crimson Bloodline

She only raised a trembling hand and pointed. Rhea followed the line of her finger. Something stirred in the ruin. The sound came first—a low, guttural growl, so deep it vibrated in Rhea’s teeth. The monastery seemed to breathe with it, exhaling shadows through its hollow windows. And then, slowly, rising from the black water at its heart… A wolf. Not like Kael. Not like any wolf she had ever known. This one was vast, its fur so black it seemed to devour the light around it, its body bound in chains that dripped seawater. When its eyes opened, they burned the world red.

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

I reach for it instinctively, trying to anchor myself, but it just pulls me deeper. I’m standing by the creek. The water looks normal, clear enough to reflect the sky, but beneath it, something glows faintly, threads of light twisting like veins under the water’s surface. A man kneels at the water’s edge. His hands are covered in black sludge. When he lifts his head, I see eyes like cold glass, reflecting no light at all. He whispers something, words I can’t hear, but his tone makes my skin crawl. Then, behind him, the trees shift. Figures move between them, hunters, masked, carrying rifles. One of them raises his weapon toward me, and the world fractures into soundless white.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

ALPHA Arthur: The Mate Who Lied

ALPHA Arthur: The Mate Who Lied

I write the words quickly, the ink bleeding into the paper like a bruise. I gave you my soul; thank you for giving it back. You will look for me in every person you meet, but you will never find me again. I leave the note on top of the papers. I leave the pregnancy results facedown beside it. Let him find it when I’m gone. Let the realization rot him from the inside out when he realizes he traded a son for a ghost from his past. I walk out the front doors. The rain is a deluge, a freezing curtain of water that soaks through my thin sweater in seconds. The Blackwood estate is a fortress of pine trees and shadows. I trek toward the border, the mud sucking at my boots, trying to pull me back in

appear in the darkening sky. It was beautiful. Impossibly, breathtakingly beautiful. "What is this place?" I whispered, not wanting to break the serenity. "Somewhere quiet," Malachi said. "Somewhere away from everything else." He walked to the water's edge without hesitation and stepped directly in, still fully clothed or what remained of his clothing. The blood began to wash away immediately, turning the clear water around him pink, then red, then clear again as the current carried it downstream. I stood on the bank, watching as he ducked his head under, his hands scrubbing through his hair. The water ran dark with blood and gore, but he didn't seem bothered. He moved with the same effici

Tainted Whispers

Victor whispered into her ear, his gravelly voice sending a wild shiver straight down her spine. In one swift, powerful movement, Victor stepped off the ledge and plunged directly into the deep end of the pool. A loud splash echoed through the room as the heated blue water swallowed them whole. The shock of the water hit Serena instantly. Panic, cold and blinding, exploded in her chest. She couldn't swim. The moment her head went under, she lost all sense of direction. The water felt heavy, pulling her down into the deep, dark abyss. She opened her eyes underwater, seeing nothing but glowing blue bubbles and Victor's massive, dark shadow holding her.
