Lookin' good girl! Instantaneously, a certain book caught my interest in Cryx's desk. My heart fluttered and my eyes twinkled, I grabbed the book and flipped some of its pages. Oh my! It's my Aunt's book! It was entitled, 'Agent Asteria', which was a mystery thriller. When it was first released last year, the bookstores had it sold out on the first day because of how much of a hit it was to the public, it got an outstanding review from the Times and even won awards internationally. Not to mention it's my favorite book of hers. It certainly deserves the title of 'best'.

It has never been my goal to impress my sister with anything I do. I scroll through the books in the library until I come to my favourite section, Mystery. I always love the thrill that comes with not knowing what's going to happen next. You can make it more interesting for yourself if you start to wonder what is happening and what will happen. The reviews were beyond what Tanya would have expected from an online book and the debates about it were just everywhere. All the while, everyone had one major question in mind. “Who is Unleashed?”

"Yeah, I read about it in a book," She said. "What book?" Joe asked. Lydia stopped walking and took off her backpack. She opened it and took out a large book and handed it to Joe. "This book..." She said. The book was large and on the cover, it had the word "TROLEYADIA" on it in large font.

I sat on Xavier's lap, Dane and Theo on either side of me as we chatted with their parents, Marilyn already popping one of the faerie bottles and pouring four glasses. She handed one to me and I blinked in surprise. "If you're joining Book Club, you'll need to get use to the buzz." She winked. My ears twitched and they all chuckled. "You'd allow me to join your Book Club?" I asked, Xavier squeezing me sweetly. The mother's smiled at me, sitting shoulder to shoulder beside Dane. "Theo says you're reader of classics." I smiled and nodded. "I love them." Thena pulled out a bag from under the table.

I replied, shaking his hand briefly before pulling it back, a tingle left in its place. “So, Kalia, what’s so captivating in that book of yours that you almost missed the best coffee in town?” He nodded toward my cup. I tilted my head, considering him. “You are assuming I don’t already know that this place has the best coffee.” He raised an eyebrow. “Fair enough. But now I’m curious about the book.” I held it up, the cover facing him. “It’s a mystery novel. Keeps me on my toes.” He leaned in slightly, intrigued. “A mystery, huh? So, you like solving puzzles?”
