Curious and confused, he followed the abnormal footprints and found himself standing in front of a closed room. DO NOT OPEN was written on the door that only worked to whet his curiosity. Curiosity and caution warred within him and eventually curiosity won as he found his fingers curled around the knob. With a small twist, he opened the door to meet with a sea of darkness. His gaze was quick to catch on something glowing in the center of the room. It seemed it was covered with cloth. He made his way towards the object and paused a step short. He extended his hands to pull off the cover when he felt two cold hands grabbing his legs. Color drained down his face.

Detective Sean opened the door of the underground basement, he cringed, seeing the sight before him. Making him retreats his footsteps. The twenty years he had been working as a detective and the the thirty five years he had spent in this town. He hadn’t seen a thing as this. Blood was was all over the wall. There was a writing in blood as well. ‘Don’t look for me, look for me you die.’ It did give him chills. The forensic department were there, running a test on the items on basement. But he couldn’t see them at the moment, the only thing he saw was the blood on the wall. He couldn’t seem to get his eyes off it.

It was past one o’clock in the morning. She didn’t know if she should call Mr. Mysterious. After all, it was so late, and he might have been asleep. She didn’t want to disturb him. While she was hesitating, she received a message from Mr. Mysterious. ‘Unlock the door with your fingerprint and wait for me in the room. I’ll be there soon.’ The messages from Mr. Mysterious always came at the right time, and Estelle was not surprised at all. She put her right index finger on the fingerprint identification area, and a pleasant ringtone was heard. The next moment, the door was opened.

Lennox didn't hesitate. One swift move, and the metal gave way. Inside: darkness. Oil smell. Moisture. Steps brushing the dusty ground. And then—something stirred. Not sound. Not motion. Presence. Audrey revealed. She hurriedly rushed to her room in search of the book; she opened the shelf and there it was the ancient book of mysteries. She took the heavy book back to the living room, everyone was seated, they had placed Zedicus' body on the table. Audrey began to open pages of the big book and continued as she searched for any solution to this mystery but it seemed none was coming forth.

I won't open this book until you tell me where you got it from!" I said coldly
