Mystique Luna

Mystique Luna

"My mate never tells me anything related to his job. I don't know, Cora." I know her mate is a dignified person; otherwise, the Alpha wouldn't have trusted him. But sometimes, I feel like he's full of secrets. I've met him a couple of times, but I rarely talk to him. He's cold and distant most of the time, so I wonder how Anastasia manages to handle him. "You can't ask him?" I asked, curious. She heaved a sigh and shrugged. I know she hates to be nosy, but aren't partners supposed to know about each other's activities? It's a way to build trust. Well, I'm not entirely familiar with how relationships work, but shouldn't it be like that?

THE STAINED LUNA: An Affair With My Mate's Father

THE STAINED LUNA: An Affair With My Mate's Father

“Wow, that's awful,” “Heh,” Cecil chuckled lightly, taking a sip from her tea. “He forgot me quicker than I thought.” I didn't press her for more details. It was clear from her expression and gestures that she wasn't comfortable talking about her past relationship, and honestly, I wasn't either. Taking a cue from her, I took a sip of my tea and selected one of the vibrantly colored cookies from the tray. “These are from Meyers. They make the best rainbow cookies,” Cecil informed me, a wide smile brightening her face.

Fated Power - Fated Destiny

Fated Power - Fated Destiny

It would help the Supernatural Council as well. ‘We’re completely on board with whatever you’d like to do, babe,’ he promised me. ‘That we do, Little Fae,’ Byron added. My attention turned back to Imeela and Jackson, knowing what my answer was. “What’s that condition going to be?” “I want you to teach me the super-secret Precoza baklava recipe. The one with the additional nutmeg.” I was serious too. I did not joke about baklava. Not one fucking bit. That recipe was a necessity. In all seriousness, I could probably orgasm from the taste alone. It was that fucking mind-blowing.

The Dark Moon and Fated series are definitely in my top 10 books of all time! Your ability to tell a story and bring it to life is amazing! When I’m reading I can actually picture it in my head as if I’m watching a movie! Love Dante, Chris, Ziyah and the whole pack! I highly recommend these books!!!

Three books into the Fated Series, and I can't put them down. I've reread everything within them multiple times. Incredible imagination doesn't even begin to cover it. I love this author's creativity and inclusion of various supernatural species, but I especially love the unique take on it all.

Mystic Academy

Mystic Academy

He stood near the mic and tapped into it twice before speaking. "Welcome everyone to the annual championship game. This event is going to start just exactly as the moon comes up..." The moon which I had learnt was the Mystic Moon. It was crescent-shaped and had a variety of stars surrounding it. It comes up only on July 7th of the year, and it had never changed.

The Whispers of my heart

The Whispers of my heart

༺❀༻ Back at Nathan’s apartment, the next day, the storm began. Sophia and Elena returned from the market with three bulging paper bags — flour, sugar, butter, vanilla, chocolate, berries, bananas, cinnamon, pie tins, muffin trays, and one suspiciously large bag labeled “Extra Flaky Crust Mix – Foolproof.” They tied on aprons — Sophia in a faded blue one that read “Kiss the Cook (If You Dare),” Elena in a black one that said “I Bake Because Screaming Is Frowned Upon.”

The Beta's Blind Date

The Beta's Blind Date

Two days with her and she already understands how my mind works. “And delicious fresh-baked cookies.” I spit the sentence out so fast it all sounds like one word. “They do traditional flavors, seasonal flavors, and two weekly flavors that they rotate, and this week it’s blueberry lemon and salted caramel chocolate chip and both of those are my favorite!” Goddess, I am rambling like fucking Wesley right now.

This book is intriguing and different and makes you want to consume it, making it hard to put down. Allie Carstens made a well written story of a playboy who doesn't want a mate, but doesn't know how to feel when he gets what he's been wanting for long. It's sweet, with twists and will captivate you.

This story was sooo GOOD! I read it twice! I’m just so in love with it that I wish I had it as a book as well. I love the main characters in this. The story flowed so well, and it just kept me hooked! And I love that the main female is a person of color, there’s not a lot of that on here. Love this!

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

“Lemme know when you need me to lick the spoon.” Creaming butter and powdered sugar together released a familiar sugary scent, way better than any expensive aromatherapy. Domini sifted the dry ingredients into the industrial mixer. She poured in white chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips and hand stirred the thick mixture, keeping the consistency between cake batter and cookie dough. She dumped the mix into a rectangular cake pan and set it on the middle rack of the smallest oven. She grabbed a saucepan, determined to nail down a souped-up version of mole sauce she’d been messing with for months.

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........

Love this well written book! Thoughts & emotions are conveyed beautifully! The author makes you feel like you know the characters intimately w/o being excessive or mundane. Hot & steamy w/o crude vulgarity! I wish we could give gems at the end of chapter but that’s the app, not the author’s fault.

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

"Becca, did you make these yourself? I haven't had a chance to taste them yet." Rebecca smiled in response. "I learned how to make these cookies from Chef Flanney at Four Seasons. I couldn't think of anything you need, so it might be a waste to buy you something. That's why I made some cookies myself. I hope you like them." The cookies were shaped like apples. They looked so convincing that one might mistake them for real apples if they were the same size. "They're so beautiful that I can't bear to eat them." Rachel exclaimed. She took a careful bite and revealed an expression of pleasant surprise. "These taste great. It's much better than those overly sweet cakes from the pastry shops. Inde

I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.

I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

Running from My Mate

Running from My Mate

Throwing that question also revealed my lack of knowledge of the baking world. "Sure, you can. You can put everything to make tasty cookies." She smiled, which showed wisdom through the wrinkles on her face. She was around Dad's age or probably a bit older. "I'm just asking because pups usually love macaroons, too. And the key ingredient is almond flour." "But I buy almond, not almond flour." "That's why you might need almond flour for macaroons." She winked, and I couldn't help but laugh. I just realized she lured me to buy more.

Falling For The Alpha Hockey Player.

Falling For The Alpha Hockey Player.

Maya grabs a container of leftover pasta from the fridge. “I'm starving. Have you eaten?” She asks, raising an eyebrow. “Not really.” I've barely been able to keep anything down all day. My stomach has been in knots since I woke up this morning. “Perfect. Let's make something.” Her eyes light up the way they always do when she has an idea. “Cookies. We should make cookies.” “Cookies?” “Yes! Chocolate chip. The good kind with the chunks, not the chips.” She's already pulling out flour and sugar from the cabinet. “Come on, it will be fun. We've not done anything fun in forever.”
