I wondered why she invited me to join their clan. I just felt the hold of Mrs. Marcus in my hand. Suddenly brown and white wolves rushed from behind us to attack them. That's when the blacks started to rush too. It was as if we were in the middle of a battle but no one was moving us, not just them. When I faced the direction of Belle, I was shocked that the man in the fedora hat was in front of me and there I finally saw his pale face, his right eye is white; his curly hair under the fedora hat and especially the bangs that touch his forehead. I immediately backed away and a white wolf came in front of me to protect against him. He looked at Reginald who is now formed as a wolf, even though

Kavi's POV I went to my room and made myself comfortable in my usual meditating place. After connecting to celestial, I came to the conclusion that Akhilan's plan is very perfect for the situation. Also, I realized, werewolves were created out of the human souls died of Bright ash poisoning which has the power to even damage the souls. But the wolves had survived. I am naturally immune to the bright ashes in this birth but wolfbane still affects my wolf. My darkness could cover that.

The ceremony concluded, and the pack made to leave, so I ran back out and hid behind a tree, watching as they invoked their wolves and Alexander led them out to hunt. The old man left the door of their den open when he left. I took the opportunity to steal back in just to have a look around. Black and white pictures were hanging around the walls - pictures of wolves. They were much larger in build than any ordinary wolf; these were the Alphas of their long history. In the center of the room was a carved-wood stand that looked like two hands holding up a silver bowl. At the bottom of the bowl, the words “Mystic Moon” were engraved. My feet felt numb, and I almost lost my balance as I stared a

she said quietly. Raven’s head snapped back. “You do?” “I do.” His shock was unmistakable. “How could you? You’ve never been here.” Mystic’s eyes flicked briefly to the path ahead — the narrow trail winding through dense pines, carved into ancient rock. “I recognize the route you’re taking.” A beat. Raven frowned. “This path is old. Sacred. Only our pack—” “Too many know of it now,” Mystic cut in gently but firmly. “Rogues. Hunters. Smugglers. Even humans who trade in wolves.”

And the hand-drawn pictures showed magnificent animals, sometimes poised on a rock in the moonlight, other times racing through woods. The first chapters of the book were devoted to the history of shifters and the explanation of the Slavic term for them, vlkodlak. Now why did that suddenly sound familiar to her? Of course! Her neighbor, Mike Volka. He'd said his ancestry was Slavic. Was that the reason for his interest in werewolves? She needed to get the book out again and get back into it. She replaced what she called her library clothes with sweats and a long-sleeved tee shirt, leaving off her bra, a treat she gave herself in the privacy of her own home. I had to tell Cole. Cole was our Alpha and he would know exactly what to do with this information. What my brother and the other wolves dont know is that our pack has been under attck by witches using black magic. Dead wolves have been found around the territory with their hearts ripped out and turned to sludge. Weird symbols were carved into their bodies.

Ace stood alone as the road curved into silence. Behind him, the woods stirred and then they came. Ten wolves. They were dark, fast, and soulless. Their eyes glowed with that same unnatural light he remembered from his days under control. Midnight Mystery wolves. They were noty just simple wolves but Engineered monsters. He didn’t hesitate. Ace shifted. His silver wolf burst forth in a flash of power and fury. His eyes gleamed violet under the rising moon. He met the first wolf mid-leap and slammed him into the dirt with a bone-breaking crunch.

I had to struggle to suppress a laugh. The Silver Myst was an urban legend, a pure silver wolf who showed up when things looked at their worst. He first appeared near four years ago, shortly after the war began, and has, supposedly, been seen numerous times since. It was always out of the corner of someone’s eye, or seen by a friend of a friend. Chris and the others were too old to believe in fairy tales.

There was a tale passed through generations, reaching the 21st Century, about a group of werewolves’ special mutation that brings out dormant abilities from a family’s genetic line. They were said to be marked and blessed by the moon goddess for they were the first of her followers. They were given the title of Legacy Wolves, keeping up their tradition and passing on their special traits through their children.

The Alpha sank his teeth on his bottom lip, shakily nodding before meeting my eyes, “I did. At first, he was shocked, but he told me that there’s a rare breed of wolves who used to do what you did easily—their eyes colour changed depending on their mood, had a unique kind of power and listen to this…they were all omegas. The mystic wolves.” “Oh.” I croaked, palms feeling sweaty as I rubbed them together. “I-I think I heard that name before. Aren’t they supposed to be a myth?” “No.” Ethan quickly said. “Sure, we tell the pups stories about mystic wolves as a fairy tale, but they were real, Lana. He showed me books and in-depth re
