WOLFMAN- Jake & Evelyn

WOLFMAN- Jake & Evelyn

It was beating wildly in my chest. My dad took another deep breath before he started speaking again. “Lycans and werewolves are two mythological creatures that have been around for centuries. They have unique abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, but they both share the same origin story: the moon goddess created them to rule beside humans.” He paused and looked at me to make sure I was following his story. I nodded, my mind spinning with this new information. His words mesmerized me—it all seemed so impossible, yet somehow, I felt an odd connection to the stories he was telling me.

The Alpha's Babysitter

The stories she had shared with Theo melded with the narratives of the dream realm, creating a kaleidoscope of tales that danced before her in a mesmerizing display. As she wandered through this fantastical land, Mama Hazel encountered creatures of myth and magic, each one a guardian of stories untold, a keeper of secrets waiting to be revealed. The characters she met whispered of forgotten tales, of hidden truths, and of the transformative power of storytelling that bound their fates together in an intricate dance of destiny.

The Guardian's Return

The Guardian's Return

James had called in an expert to craft a compelling story. The story went like that: A long time ago, a sage saved a snake, which later transformed into a woman to repay the favor. However, the sage’s mentor found out and tried to separate them, even summoning a great flood to force them apart. In the end, the couple jumped into Crystal Lake together and transformed into a pair of lovebirds to stop the flood and flew away to live happily ever after. “That story is so touching.” “The sage’s mentor is so evil! He caused a massive flood just to break them up. How many innocent people did that flood kill?”

Finding their Luna at an all boys school

Finding their Luna at an all boys school

ELARA No. Not that story. Not here. My eyes were still wide in horror. I’ve heard that story countlessly. It had been a myth. A legend. Something I had always frowned upon when my general used it as a bonfire story everytime we had fresh meat soldiers. The tea scorched my tongue but I kept drinking. Damon didn’t utter a word as I drank the tea in a gulp. He simply patted my hands the moment I finished and then stood up.

The Alpha’s Favour

The Alpha’s Favour

I protested. "Oh, my baby girl." She reached forward and picked me up. Placing me on her lap. "Let me tell you a story. It's about a big scary, powerful king. His eyes shone red like the Wolf in your nightmares. Everyone thought he was scary as well. His strength intimidated the other kingdoms. But all he tried to do was provide a good life for his own people. Everyone but his own were afraid and jealous of this nice misunderstood king. So one day, the kings and Queens of the other Kingdoms attacked the poor innocent king. Taking his kingdom and all his people." I remember listening intently as she told the story.

The Final Cut

The Final Cut

Talk of ‘spirits separated from their bodies’ reminded him of Ashkan and the ruined remains of the other men. “All myth starts as story,” said the driver. “Sometimes we call the story history, sometimes religion, eventually it all becomes myth. Beneath every myth is an ancient tale, a hidden belief that gives shape and form to every god that’s ever received a prayer on a dark and lonely night.” “Okay, now you’re getting wa-ay deep. Does this ‘ancient belief’ have a name then?” “It’s had many names, in every language ever spoken. Some call it ‘the Oldest Truth,’ others—the ‘Faith that Came before Man.’”

An interesting story hihihi

"I've spent a lot on you, girl. This is a golden opportunity. If you ruin this set up, I'm sorry to say this, but I'm giving up on you as well. But, that would be after you pay me back for all I invested on you. Your clothes, hairdos, adornments… .." She spoke on and on, while Emma was already shivering in fear. Her mind drifted to her family. They were still owning some people, who claimed her father borrowed money from them before he died. She was still struggling with paying the so-called debt and couldn't bear to add another one to it. Patting her shivering shoulders slightly, "you can do it, Emma. It will change your family's situation as well….." She added those soft persuasions, after

The Accidental Werewolf

The Accidental Werewolf

“Do you remember the story?” I do. According to the fairy tale, The Star Child was The Moon Goddess’s true love, but he was a jealous lover, and when The Moon Goddess created the first wolf as her constant companion, The Star Child tried to destroy them, but our mother interfered and saved their life. Angered by her lover’s betrayal, The Moon Goddess cast The Star Child aside, telling him he’d be doomed to wander this planet alone and in pain for the rest of his life.

I had a hard time liking the FL's sarcasm/strong opinions in the first chapters, but she grew on me as I continued reading. The writing is good, and so are the descriptions. Hardly any grammatical errors, and the pacing is fine. Great job author!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Crash Into Me

Crash Into Me

She softly smiled to herself as he turned and saw her do so. "Princess, what are you thinking about?", he asked as he looked closely at her. "Why?", she asked. "I would just like to know.", he said. "I was thinking about the gods from mythical times.", she said. "Of course, you were.", he said laughing. "My father used to tell us a story of the myth of how humans came to look as we do.", She started. He tilted his head as if to encourage the rest of the story. "In the beginning, humans didn't look like us. They were completely content creatures completely happy.
