"I don't remember. It must have hurt though. Like hell." He chuckled but then quickly stopped. "Sorry, I shouldn't be laughing." His cheeks turned red. I shook my head and laughed. "It's alright. It is a bit funny though." Easing, he gave me his million dollar smile. "So about mates. Tell me more." I shuffled and crossed my legs on the couch, stuffing a pillow in my arms before I took his hand and started aiding his arms while beginning the story. "So, you know we believe in the Moon Goddess. Legends say the Moon Goddess couldn't have the love of her life so to bless her children, us, she divided every wolf's soul in two and put it in another being. For them to have the love of their lives.

It's one of the most famous myths'' I replied. ''Do you know who wrote that story?'' I asked with my hand covering my mouth, my inner fan girl was just about ready to bust out. ''That was... that was... that was... instigated by my most loyal subject, Maze. He thought it would be fun if my most loyal Hydra had a story of his own. But the human mind can't understand many things," he explained. ''I am not an ordinary human,'' I said with a smile, which he returned.

She was fascinated by the way that different cultures had woven tales of love into the night sky. "And then there's the story of Orion and Scorpio," Eddie said, pointing to two constellations on opposite sides of the sky. "According to Greek mythology, Orion was a great hunter who boasted that he could kill any animal on earth. This angered the goddess Gaia, who sent a giant scorpion to kill him."

She asked. “Um, it can be any myth, right? Anything?” I asked her to make sure. “Any myth can work but it should be mainly from Romans or Greeks” She cleared that for me. “Got it…” I said and leaned back smiling because I already had something in my mind.

“What stories?” “Well, um, you told…Geneva told them to me. The first tale was about a fairy that fell in love with a human. However, this human craved jewels and treasure and did not care about this fragile fairy. So, he persuaded the fairy to lead him to all the fairies’ riches. He stole it and never looked back, while the fairy, in her own heartbreak and guilt, lay down upon a white lily…closed her eyes and never opened them again.” “That’s awful,” said Grace.

"Tell me for it has peaked my interest." Chaos chuckled slightly. "I will tell you the story of how the sun goddess got betrayed by her moon god lover who stole her power for his own selfish reason."

“Do you know the story of Andromeda?” I nodded my head, indicating that I was unfamiliar with the story. Aarya began to explain, “King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia had a daughter named Andromeda, whom they claimed was more beautiful than the daughters of Poseidon. When the humans grew arrogant, Poseidon sent a monster to ravage their kingdom. To appease the beast, Cassiopeia chained Andromeda. Luckily, Perseus, who had slain Medusa, found her and defeated the monster, saving Andromeda.”

she continued slowly "What's happened"? She asks I don't speak for a while. "Is a long story" I breathed out, she doesn't prey further and only nods her head. "Why do you call him Alpha?" I found myself asking She looks around suspiciously, peeking her head out from the hideout she turns left and right. Once satisfied she looks at me. "A myth" she whispered "Myth?" "Yeah more like a legend" she pause for a while then she begins to speak. "Centuries ago before the creation of man. The moon and the earth were one living in perfect harmony. And right now, she's reading Michael's birthday present to her: Greek Myth and Legend. Feet up, stretched out on the settee in front of the fire, she couldn't look happier.... Well, maybe there's one way.... I nudge up her feet to sit beside her. "Which story are you reading?" "The one about how Heracles wrestled with Achelous and broke off his horn and created the cornucopia.... The horn of plenty." She dimples happily and there's a merry little twinkle in her eye. Is that some kind of hint?

"Okay we need to get down to business, what would the story be, why did you have to come and live with us? "Wait, why do I have to have a story?" "Fletcher knows that I'm a Mythical, but he can’t know that you or Gia are one too." "Wait, you said Gia is your Cousin, why does she have a story?" I ask, something about this Gia girl rubs me the wrong way.
