I look back down as I lick my teeth with another growl as I get off the bitch and point at her. “You’re dead.” I snarl at her. “Nina, what did you do?” Asteria still has hold of me as she turns to face the siren. “Nothing, she attacked me.” she whimpers and I laugh and so does my dad. “Do you have any idea who she or he is?” Asteria points to me and my dad and the siren shakes her head. “She is Gaia, the Goddess of Hell and Harbinger of Death. He is Fenrir, her father. So I will ask you again. What. Did. You. Do?”

Jayden whispers in shock. My head is pounding and I feel dizzy. Tara is Keturah, the moon goddess. The woman who has been helping me all this while is the moon goddess? I always knew she was different, but it never occurred to me. “Keturah, blessed goddess, mother of our kind, it's an honour to have you in our midst”, Kreed says, going one knee. Everybody in the room does the same including, Jayden. I keep sitting, trying my best to see through the tears that have clouded my vision.

“Oh, wow. I’m okay being me without turning into a dog in a full moon. Can I do magic tricks like you did?” Kailin had that funny look again, trying to hold her laugh. “What?” “You’re more than just a werewolf,” Grandpa said. “So I can fly then?” “Your grandmother Ophelia and your mother could see a person’s future.” I chuckled at the same time, in awe. “So they were like prophets?” “They came from the long line of Sybil, from Ancient Greek.” “Wasn’t Apollo, the god of archery, music, and dance, a seer of Zeus? So this mythology was actually not a myth.”

I explain, after downing the rest of my ale and chuckle at Bane purring in my head at the way I spoke of Raven. “Goddess? I thought pagan Gods and Goddess’ were myths and folktales?” Eino questions, making Dagon and I both chuckle and shake our heads. “You’ve just learned lycans, werewolves, witches, dragons, and vampires are all real, yet you think that Gods and Goddess’ are only myths? No, they’re very much real. Queen Raven, is the Goddess of Death, and her twin sister, Queen Liliana, is the Goddess of Life. They create balance in our world and help keep peace between the species. Their great grandmother was the first Moon Goddess, and passed down her title to her daughter, who passed it

It was our second anniversary, a time when things were simpler. — From what I read, the legend is about a king of Ancient Greece, Lycaon, who always killed those who stayed in his palace... one night, Zeus disguised himself as an old man, and asked the king for shelter, who somehow discovered that he was Zeus, so as a form of blasphemy and mockery, he served human flesh to the God of Olympus, who cursed him to become a monster, a wolf.

"That's creppy as fuck." I roll my eyes, forcing myself not to smile. "Anyway, apparently Zeus split them into two separate beings because he was afraid of their power. After he did that, however, he condemnded them to spend their lives in search of each other." I finished. "I always really loved that myth." "It's nice." he replies and starts digging into his pockets. "Shame it's not real though." I frown at him. "Oh, shush. It might be. Don't ruin my pretty story for me."

According to Aztec mythology, she led her brothers in an attack against their mother, Coatlicue, and was killed and dismembered by her brother Huitzilopochtli, the god of the sun and war. Her story symbolizes the moon's phases and its struggle against the sun. Chang'e (Chinese Mythology):

My father’s eyebrow shot up in a horrified expression, his mouth twisting in disappointment. “Now, Callista. I know that all of these movies now days focus on Zeus and the Olympian gods and goddesses but you cannot tell me that you never paid any attention when I spoke to you and your brother about the other aspects of mythology. Greek mythology doesn’t revolve around the titans versus the Olympians.” my father’s voice went into his lecturing tone and I had to force myself not to zone out like I did under the usual circumstances. “I’m sorry I didn’t pay attention Baba, I truly am. Please can you teach me about Morpheus?”
