Mythology Powers Novels & Stories

What should I expect and what should I do. The Oracle nodded, understanding the question. "Today you have unknown and infinite powers, but that originate from what comes from your soul. Supernatural powers that are strong enough to ward off monsters and fight with archangels on an equal footing. However, your powers will become a real chaos for your enemies, and a magical fortress for your friends. You will be able to control from the air, to the waters of your world. You will be powerful enough to make your world according to what you consider right to live. You can fight the Creator with equal power, if not greater. You will become the Goddess of hell.

She was lying in my mind, her head up and her tail flicking as she thought over the question. 'It is possible, it has never been done, we are still homing in on all our powers.' She replied thoughtfully. 'It won't hurt to try it, if we do, the Moon Goddess has given us the Power to command everyone, she is the only one who can do that.' "What does Hela have to say?" Grant asked, "She isn't sure, she said if we can, it is a power that only the Moon Goddess holds," I explained. "She said it doesn't hurt to try, the least that would happen is I look like a total plank if it doesn't work."

I stand still, unflinching, waiting for him to respond. "I am not a witch," he frowns, deeply offended by the comparison. "Although if I were, I’d lie to you and never admit it openly. Witches steal their power, corrupting nature to give them whatever it is that they desire. My abilities," he looks up, reverently.. "come from a higher power. They were gifted by the Moon Goddess herself. Just like your powers, your son's powers, and the powers of all the other wolves here.”

“What kind of tea is this?” A small smile plays on Hecate her face. “Tea of the gods. Now focus and listen to me. You have the magical power of a Goddess, that means you influence the elements and not just earth, wind, fire, water and spirit. You influence all eight elements. Earth, wind, fire, water, spirit, ice, darkness and light. I’ll show you small examples of what I mean.” Hecate takes her own cup of tea and swirls her hand above the cup. Her eyes start glowing a bright green, just like mine do when I access my powers and the tattoos on her skin seem to follow her movements. Following the trail of her swirling fingers are small strings of tea.

I’d never heard of wolves having any powers before, but then, it’s not like I got to see much as the pack slave at Blood Moon. “When the Goddess created shifters, she imbued them with a variety of powers to help the race survive. Most received basic elemental power—control over one of the four elements. Some received telekinesis; some received visions. No one knows how she chose which line got what power, but every line was blessed with something. Some shifters, like Mom, Dad, and Duncan, were blessed with two unique powers.”

What did she mean by that? “As a member of royalty, you have the power to control the elements Earth, wind, fire and water. Once you master all four, you will be the most powerful wolf in all of creation,” she explained. This explains the purple flames and the what you did to Tallulah, Rhea butted in. “Does that mean I’ll be able to walk on water and stuff?” I asked, excited by the prospect of being able to do incredible things. She laughed. “Well, I’m not sure about walking on water, but you will be able to bend it to your will.”

“That I must be married for at least three consecutive months to gain any rights to contest the power structure. If not, it all goes to them permanently.” I stared at him. “So… I’m your key to taking back what’s yours.” “Yes.” My mind reeled. “But why me? You could’ve picked anyone. Someone from your world.” His eyes darkened. “The reason I chose you doesn’t concern you.” I froze at his curt response. Threading lightly, I asked, “And what’s your stepmother like?” “She hates weakness. She hates anything she can’t manipulate. And you… well, she obviously has nothing on you.”

"What kind of powers?" He hesitated for a moment before answering. "It varies from person to person," he said cryptically. "Some people can control the elements, others have telekinetic abilities, inhumane powers that makes us faster than the average human.. stronger... But we all have one thing in common: we were chosen for a reason." She frowned, trying to make sense of it all. "Chosen? By whom?" "By the gods, I like to think it's the moon goddes. To balance the scale here on Earth," he said simply, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
