Mythomania Book Novels & Stories

He held it up for a moment, examining it in the light before casually flicking it onto the concrete floor, where it landed with a tiny, insignificant tink. "One," Zandrei counted softly, his eyes glinting with a mad, ecstatic light. "Now, let's try again. Who sent you?" He asked, his voice brimming with a childlike excitement, like a madman who had just discovered a wonderfully fun new game and was eager for another turn. The man in the chair could only manage a strangled, guttural sound, a wet sobbing noise that vibrated through his shattered mouth. His head thrashed from side to side, his eyes wide with a horror so pure it was almost beautiful to Zandrei.

Slowly, deliberately, I opened it. Greek mythology. My breath caught. The cover was glossy and new. I flipped it open, the pages crisp beneath my fingertips, the scent of fresh paper and ink rising up, familiar and comforting. Only Damian knew. Only Damian knew how I’d always lost myself in these stories, gods and mortals, tragedies and triumphs, flawed heroes and inevitable endings. How I found comfort in myths that never pretended happy endings were guaranteed. A warmth spread through my chest, tender and bittersweet all at once.

"What are you reading?" Glancing up from the thick pages, I see Sebastian standing in front of me. My mind is so consumed with the stories that I did not notice him come in, which is rare. "This book about myths. Henry told me about it since he found my ability in it." "And what myth are you?" He sits down beside me as I flip back to the page. "It's called The Daughters of the Moon Goddess." I hand him the book, and he looks over the pages. "Some of it is true, but most of it is not."

"You may sit Mr. Wilson. How about you Ms. Kingston? Why don't you tell us something about your book ?" I stood up and wetted my lips while looking at the cover of the book in question. "It's called the Myth of The Broken Throne." "Very well, what's it about? "It's starting with the history of the supernaturals and the birth of the werewolves. The Cerulean clan and the Royals --" "I guess you still don't know what the myth is about." "No, I don't. " "Then what have you thought about the book till now? Did you get any interesting mystery, you would like to share with us?"

Maybe this was also the reason the witch used the death of Father as a warning to what would come if I do not find my way to the waterfalls. I blinked at the moon, forcefully tearing my eyes from it. I did not want this feeling to continue. Whatever was true, I am a demon and I should accept that! My eyes drifted to a gray book that lay on the stool beside the window— at the bottom of my bed. Its roughly worn out hardcover carried the words inscribed in threadbare golden stitches, which simply stated, ‘U-turn from Myths’. Until today, I still did not understand how the title related to the book as it told about myths, legends, and folktales instead of stating why one should ‘U-turn from Myth

The book is currently free so you might want to quickly binge-read all the available chapters before they get locked. This is a book I've worked really hard on, and it is filled with so much lore, smut (a whole lot of it), longing, plot twists, villains, and, of course, a man who'd burn down the world for his woman. You'll definitely love the book so please add it and drop your comments. Thank youuu💕

I hope my book becomes a big thing on this platform. As to why I'm writing this note, I don't know if any of you have noticed, but the myth involved in my werewolf book is purely fictional, especially with the introduction of Dhruv and the addition of Faes. I tried my best not to derail completely from the original history of werewolves that's known. If anyone is pissed by this, I deeply apologize. However, I believe I'm free to write beyond my imagination.

And who deserves to get slapped by the Moon Goddess herself? Also! I just released a new book! 🖤 ✨ MARKED ON ICE: MY ALPHA ROOMMATE IS AN OMEGA ✨ It's an omegaverse story filled with drama, tension, chaos, and questionable life decisions. Please check it out when you have time and don't forget to leave reviews, comments, and votes. Those little things help more than you know. Thank you for being here. Thank you for choosing this story. And thank you for trusting me with your emotions.

She wasn’t foolish enough to risk another slap. She gathered the three books scattered at the bottom of the stairs and sat on the old, makeshift mattress. Opening the first one, her heart skipped. She knew it instantly. Lycanthrope Myths and Legends. Her mother used to read it to her before bedtime, her voice filled with warmth and love. The book had become a small piece of comfort, a fragile link to the world that had once been hers. Over the years, that story became her anchor, her only fragile hope that one day, her soulmate would come and rescue her from this living nightmare.
