Mosi I shook my head, trying to get the black little spots to stop dancing in front of my eyes, so I could get my bearings to gather myself and get off this floor, from under all these books and pieces of wood planks that used to be Kalama’s bookcase. I took some books off of my legs and dusted off dust and rubble from all over me, while looking for a place to put hands to push myself up. Everywhere around me was covered with debris.

This woman seemed to be getting more and more interesting. “Will you fire me?” She stared up into his eyes, her blue eyes misty and scared. “No.” He reached out and took the book she had in her other hand. “Do you often smoke?” “No. Only when I am really stressed.” He opened the book and leafed through the pages. This was one of his favorite books as a boy. So she liked this kind of literature too, Egyptian mythology exploring the tenets of sex as a form of worship. “How often do you get that stressed?” He closed the book, and looked back up at her.

In the synopsis, it stated his life as an old werewolf dated back to the time when werewolves were discovered and ended when werewolves were thought to be just myths. Out of all the books, it peaked my interest the most so I stopped looking for more books, and I just decided to settle down on the couch near my bed and opened up Mr. Coleman's book. I was too entranced by the book to realize that someone had opened the door and was now sitting on the love seat, watching me intently as I flipped through the pages of my book. It had probably been hours since I started to read and I had only made it up to my third book.

I hope my book becomes a big thing on this platform. As to why I'm writing this note, I don't know if any of you have noticed, but the myth involved in my werewolf book is purely fictional, especially with the introduction of Dhruv and the addition of Faes. I tried my best not to derail completely from the original history of werewolves that's known. If anyone is pissed by this, I deeply apologize. However, I believe I'm free to write beyond my imagination.

This creature couldn't just be a figment of imagination, could it? Refusing to be disheartened, Adam refined his search, typing "Library with books containing myths and legends" into the search bar. The first result that popped up was a picture of a quaint shop called Dominor's Shop of Myths and Legends. Below the name of the shop were samples of books available for purchase. Adam scrolled down, his eyes scanning the titles, until they fell upon a book titled "Wolves and Their Subclasses."

She fell asleep quickly, and I pulled out the book I had been reviewing earlier today. This was another book about myths and legends. The first section was about the improbability of a human mate. It obviously wasn’t helpful since I have a human mate, but I read it anyway to see if there was any information we could use. Unfortunately, the book didn’t provide any helpful insight. I began flipping through the pages, scanning for anything about human mates, visions, or the legend of the human line destined to give power to one special wolf.

Not even remotely. “What kind of joke is this?” I muttered under my breath. I flipped through a few more pages for good measure, but there was nothing. Absolutely nothing that had anything to do with me or that strange power surge or… whatever had happened. Just random stories, myths, legends… beasts that belonged in bedtime stories, not real life. My irritation finally snapped. I slammed the book shut, harder than necessary. The sound echoed through my room, and a puff of dust burst into the air.

It pricks my interest and I wonder why I didn’t see it before. Guess I was too cut up trying to find a way and escape the suffocating smoke in the space. Scooting over, I grab the book. It’s an old leather-bound journal with several drawings and writings. I sit back down on the creaky floor, folding my legs together and then I flip through the first page that has a written sentence. “The world is dark. Full of myths. But how much do humans know?” That statement alone stirs my nerve and my curiosity flares to the nth degree. I turn the next page and surprisingly a picture falls off.

Her mark had flickered under my healing… No, there had to be something there. I tore through the books Sofia had given me, looking for something that might give me a clue what could be causing my suspicions to flare. I should have been dressing for the day of my wedding. There was a family brunch in an hour, but instead, I curled up on the window seat in my room and flipped through pages desperately. Time was almost up when I found what I was looking for in the book titled ‘Selene the Blessed’. The book was a collection of myths about a woman blessed by the Moon Goddess.

he rumbled as he drew near. I sat up straight and held out the book, feeling unaccountably nervous when he plucked it from my hands. "Do you actually believe these myths?" I asked curiously, watching while he scanned the pages. Jason let out a snort before tossing the book carelessly on the table. "It's just nonsense, not to be taken seriously," he scoffed. "That's why they're called legends." "Oh, I see..." I murmured, feeling a bit foolish for having been so engrossed. Maybe I was the one being silly for finding it interesting.
