One Night with a Lycan: A Big Girl’s Transformation

One Night with a Lycan: A Big Girl’s Transformation

Nolan continued, “I guess Yena is more forgiving than I am. She wanted me to bring you some reading material. Guess she must have been concerned you would be bored in here.” He opened his jacket and pulled a small book out of the interior pocket. The gap at the bottom of the silver bars was just wide enough for the book to fit underneath. Nolan crouched and shoved it under, sending the book sliding straight across the slick, well-worn, centuries-old stone floor. Adan stopped the book under his foot. He stared down at it. But he did not bend to pick it up. It was the book he had written many years ago, back when he lived in the human world. The book he had given to Yena when they first met, w

I have really enjoyed this book as a whole… so far. I’m about 70% of the way into the story and find myself mostly happy with the book. I’m just wondering, why does the Prince have such a hang up about weight? It just seams a bit passive aggressive on the negative comments, and name calling.

The Second Time's a Charmer

The Second Time's a Charmer

she rolled her eyes and went in the opposite direction to proceed with her main task. “I finally found the Non-fiction section!” she silently cried in joy after spending a couple of minutes walking around the huge shop, “I can’t believe it’s located in the far left corner, no wonder I couldn’t find it so easily.” she murmured. Her fingers trailed each of the book’s spines while muttering the titles, Valencia is searching for the book named, ‘The Golden Success’, a manual literature that made the world’s well-known businessmen and businesswomen massively successful.

Grandma's Golden Boy

Grandma's Golden Boy

she shouted the moment she stepped into the office, her voice so loud the windows seemed to rattle. The math teacher, a young woman fresh out of college, was startled and hurriedly tried to explain, "Ma'am, being a class representative helps build a child's sense of responsibility—" "Responsibility? You're clearly trying to wear my grandson out!" My mother slammed her hand on the desk. "Collecting homework every day? What if he gets exhausted? His hands are meant for writing, not doing this kind of labor! I bet you're picking on us because we're a widow and child!"

My Golden Queen

My Golden Queen

She replied with some good questions. “It’s too early to tell if there is to be another war, I knew this would be hard for you due to you dad’s passing in the last one, I would listen to Sapphire if she has advised that there will be then this might be the case and you will be ready. You are strong and powerful in your own right and the goddess always has a plan. I think she might be the only golden wolf; this could be a great thing being very rare or could be bad as some might seek you out for selfish reasons.” I explained as she nodded along with my answers.

Gilded Hearts

Gilded Hearts

-----------Glimpse----------- The stillness of the penthouse felt just like some gilded cage pushing me down. I still could hear my mother’s rasping breaths in my head alongside seeing a hopeful smile on my brother’s face when I told him about tuition. Survival along with books in addition to breath that is what the money represented for me. Under a man who looked directly at me as though I were some poison wrapped up in pearls, I found myself still wrapped well in silk I’d never truly own.

Who's the Gold Digger Now?

Who's the Gold Digger Now?

The fish pond's profits increased very quickly, and my net worth grew drastically. … As we had been spending time together over the past few months, Shannon and I had gotten a lot closer. I no longer addressed her formally as "Ms. Holland", and she did not call me "Mr. Rivers" either. One day, I was working on a finance report in the yard when I heard Shannon's voice from afar. Soon, she walked up to me. "Are you writing a report?" "Yes. I'm almost done. Just a moment." "Alright." Although she was waiting for me, Shannon could not stay still. She helped me clean up the yard and washed all my dirty dishes.

The Gilded Cage

The Gilded Cage

"Anna, this is a piece by the renowned painter Mr. Tobias. If you like it, I will buy it for you, alright?" Hearing that familiar name, my body went rigid. I turned and saw my daughter, Anna Sterling. She was dressed in a layered princess gown, the delicate tulle cascading like blooming petals. A dazzling eight-carat diamond hairpin shimmered in her hair. Her arm was looped through Scarlett’s, their closeness undeniable. "Thank you, Miss Snow. We already have three of Mr. Tobias’s paintings at home. This time, I’d like to see more realist art instead."

The Stepfather's Forbidden Claim

The Stepfather's Forbidden Claim

The morning at the Vance Gallery should have felt like a victory. My father’s masterpiece, The Lady in Gold, was back on the wall, glowing under the spotlights. But as I sat behind my mahogany desk, I couldn't feel the joy. All I could feel was the ghost of Julian’s hands on my skin from the night before and the heavy, cold weight of the silver GPS anklet rubbing against my bone.

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Silas whispered, his gold-and-sapphire skin glowing with a soft, steady radiance. "It's 'Unread', Silas," Lyra replied, leaning her head against his shoulder. "And that's the best story I've ever heard." But as the peace settled over the family, a sudden, sharp vibration shook the ground. Not from the sky. Not from the mountain. From the "Genesis Gold" needle that Kaelen was still holding. The needle wasn't gold anymore. It was turning a solid, glowing "Author's Ink" black. Kaelen looked at his own reflection in the needle. He didn't see a boy. He saw a man standing in a room of infinite bookshelves.
