AMELIA POV Nana brushes my hair while she's humming a melody under her breath. She's the only one who can get me to eat and take a shower, so the rest of the staff and household haven't been bothering me. Stubborn as all hell, but he looked just like a movie star. All the girls wanted him, and then he picked plain old me."

Nana asked with a heavy sigh. “Why? Are you trying to get rid of us?” Sandra asked with a sly smile. “No, not at all. It’s just that I saw the cutest little outfit at bingo today and I couldn’t resist getting it for the baby.” Nana stood and hurried out of the room to fetch the bag she always carried with her; the one filled with zip lock baggies for leftovers at a restaurant, wet wipes for spills, and every other little necessity one might find a need for, including a small can of disinfectant spray for public toilet seats and a half used roll of toilet paper - just in case the restroom didn’t have any.

I felt he was here for me, and as much as it sounded so ridiculous, my head couldn't stop making me believe that. Why the hell would he come for me when he doesn't even know of my existence. And, that guard just said he had met Nana in the kingdom before. Gosh! I must be stupid to think he's here for me when it's obviously for Nana. It was already 9:00 p.m., and I hurriedly surveyed myself in the mirror, making sure every detail of my outfit was just right. I had opted for a sleek black dress that hugged my curves in all the right places. Its off-the-shoulder design added a touch of sophistication, while the knee-length skirt showcased a playful edge. I paired it with strappy heels that elongated my legs and completed the look with a statement necklace and a bold red lip. I couldn't help but feel confident in this ensemble.
