As their tongues began to move, Henry prompted, “The stories. Begin.” Nancy’s voice was muffled against Ruby’s flesh, but audible. “I… I once shit myself… during a final exam in college,” she confessed, the words agony. “I was so nervous… I tried to hold it… I ruined my favorite jeans… had to walk out with everyone knowing…” As she spoke, her tongue worked furiously on Ruby’s clit, as if trying to lick away the memory.

There are only about a couple of people. After I send Arthur a quick text telling him where I am, I pick up the first book I see in the fiction section and head to the corner where a table is set next to the window. And I find the weird girl Nancy there. For the first time ever, she’s wearing a headband, clearing her long black hair from her face. She actually looks better this way, much prettier. Even though we had a weird encounter months ago, I still smile at her. “Hi, Nancy.”

Primrose was very satisfied with her current appearance. Nancy, on the other hand, wore a white, elegant spaghetti-strap dress that made her fair skin stand out. They booked a car to the airport early in the morning, and as they entered, almost every eye turned towards them due to their captivating looks. Primrose and Nancy enjoyed this attention, held their heads high, and moved forward, pulling their suitcases.

Nancy's voice was filled with genuine remorse as she acknowledged her misstep. I smiled at her, touched by her gesture. "Don't apologize. It's fine," I reassured her. "I'm sorry for suddenly inviting you out. But here's my gift for my grandson," Nancy said, her eyes filled with warmth and sincerity. Nancy carefully retrieved some of the paper bags and eagerly showed me their contents. "I've brought toys, new clothes, and some educational books for him. These books would be really helpful for his studies. I'm not sure what kind of toys he wanted, so I just picked the best ones at the store."

) Rose whispers and yells. (I'm three weeks late.) I say it nervously. (Oh my goddess, I’m going to be an aunt!) Rose whispered excitedly. (No, I can’t be.) I am still in shock. (I got you, girl; we are about to find out now.) Nancy says she is determined. (What are you going to do?) Rose asks, amused. (Just give me a second.) Nancy says this and walks away. Me and Rose look at each other but don't say anything. Nancy comes back after a few minutes and tells Rose and me to follow her upstairs. I look at her confusedly, but I follow her anyway.

Noah: “No worries. I admit that this is highly unorthodox. Your friend asked me to do this favor for her, and I thought - Why not? It could be fun! I sent you a message yesterday, but you didn’t respond...” “I must not have seen it,” Nancy lied.” She actually had seen it, but she didn’t want to have any contact with anyone of the opposite sex anymore. Noah: “Your foot... Does it hurt?” Nancy: “Probably, yes. It doesn’t matter, though. It shouldn’t be a problem.” Noah looked at the bouquet of flowers in her hand and said, “May I help you?” Nancy frowned and said, “You must think I’m pretty stupid if you don’t think I’m capable of handling a fist full of flowers.”

Her laughter echoed through the room, and the amusing image remained vivid in her mind. On their trips to the local bookstore, Nancy and Luther would navigate the aisles side by side, engrossed in each other's company and indifferent to others around them. If anyone drew near, Luther would immediately retreat into his shell, refusing to engage with anyone unfamiliar. Nancy would read short stories to him in the center of the bookstore, where brightly colored benches awaited, alongside an array of children's books and engaging activities. After completing their adventure and selecting their books, they would head to the cashier to finalize their purchases.

**Shawn's POV** (Meanwhile on the other side of the city...) I’m in the living room, halfway through folding a shirt to pack into my traveling bag for my stay at Stella’s place, when Nancy walks out of her room with two bags already packed. I put the shirt down. She is moving with the particular purpose of someone who has been rehearsing this moment for a while — chin up, steps measured, not quite meeting my eyes. The bags are large and I know this s not a weekend trip's permission she wants to ask for.

With my impeccable sense of style, I lead Varisa through a line of fashionable dresses. I share with her my thoughts on silhouettes, necklines, and fabrics. However, for Varisa, there is a simpler and more fanciful dream that she has in mind. Being a passionate nanny, she has always admired simplicity and the beauty in the small pleasures of life. She confides in me that she wants a dress that would symbolize her soft personality.
