The Alpha That Couldn't Remember

The Alpha That Couldn't Remember

“Norman isn’t my father. He made me kill my mother when he found out, I wasn't his.” “You’re lying.” Alpha Magnus growled again. “There is no way, no. It can’t be.” “She has a white wolf, Magnus.” Grandad said softly. “A very strong white wolf, that is able to withstand very strong magic.” For the first time, the woman spoke. “Let’s go inside.” We all walked inside and I had no idea what to think. They brought us to the living room and I sat down next to grandpa. “I am Luna Alasie, welcome to our home.” She said, pouring us some tea to drink.

MR. CEO WANTS HIS EX-WIFE BACK

MR. CEO WANTS HIS EX-WIFE BACK

SYLVIA'S POV I pushed my cart to the checkout line, trying to ignore the hum of the supermarket's television broadcasting the latest news. The report was a grim reminder of the chaos that had overtaken my life these past few weeks. Alice had managed to evade capture, despite the police's best efforts, and now her escape was dominating the headlines. The screen showed a grainy image of Alice from a surveillance camera, her face partially obscured as she slipped away. Todd Marlon and his wife, the couple who helped her, were also being sought, but it was clear Alice was the priority.

ALPHA AND THE DAUGHTER

ALPHA AND THE DAUGHTER

I shouted, but the darkness consumed me once more. After another period of unconsciousness, I awoke again in bed, my head pounding. Vivid flashes assaulted my mind—scenes of devastation and horror. I saw the Alpha, cradling his pregnant mate, begging Ruth for mercy, only to witness the brutality that followed. Ruth’s long nails pierced the Alpha’s mate, pulling out the child and discarding the lifeless bodies to the ground. The Alpha, utterly defeated, wept in despair, kneeling before Ruth. I was horrified to see her kick his head away as if it were nothing.

The Alpha’s Hidden Heiress

The Alpha’s Hidden Heiress

They were the largest, most powerful wolf pack in existence. "I... yes," I managed to stammer out. "Ah, so you do know them," Agatha said, her voice sickly sweet. "Then perhaps you can explain something to me. You see, I've heard a fascinating rumour. They say the Griffith Alpha King has a daughter. A beloved princess, hidden away from the world." She paused, letting her words hang in the air. The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. "Now, correct me if I'm wrong," she continued, her eyes gleaming with malice, "is it true that this princess... disappeared a few years ago? Rumour has it she ran away from home.”

The Alpha and the Mistake

The Alpha and the Mistake

I told him and continued to my room. Once changed and in my office, I sat in the large leather chair and frowned at the computer. The childish part of me just wanted to ignore it and go about my day, but instead, I pulled up my big girl pants and hit the ‘answer call’ button. “Alpha Steven,” I said, as if his call just made my day. “How’s the day treating you? What can I do for you today?” He didn’t seem fooled by my cheeriness. “I heard you found your mate and that it was Mike Howe,” Alpha Steven said, sounding almost suspicious.

This was a captivating book. Adventure, romance, suspense, drama with unexpected humor where it was needed most. I enjoyed reading this, although I don't like that there is only about a chapter you can read at a time (aprox13-14 mins for me) without spending money on "credits"

Fast paced plot line which I personally liked. There are great characters that I wished had been developed more, only because they are written well and I wanted more :). There are no sex scenes so you sorta lose that intimacy and love that develops between the characters. Totally recommend though.

The Alpha's Obsession

The Alpha's Obsession

“You are most definitely pregnant.” “I cannot smell it.” Alpha Devlin insisted. “Gross! You can smell it?” I wrinkled my nose. “You are not a wolf?” Jessica asked me, dropping her hostility towards me for one moment. “No. I am not a wolf.” I patted her hand, resisting the urge to pulled it away. My suspicions about Jessica grew with each passing moment. I hated to think my suspicions were prejudiced. ‘I am keeping it real, Alpha Devlin. She is very pregnant. And the baby is a Chase. So who do I congratulate for this accomplishment?’

Alpha's Honor

Alpha's Honor

Still in a daze, Hanon went to Hugo and scooped the boy up with effortless grace. “It’s time to go.” “Wait!” I bit the inside of my cheek, exchanging looks with Byron. Hanon turned to us. “What?” “That’s…” Byron closed his eyes. “He’s an Alpha. He’s a fucking Alpha. How is that even possible?” “Excuse me?” Doc chimed in. “Hugo’s wolf is an Alpha.” I said simply, but it wasn’t simple at all. They were all quiet for several minutes. “What exactly leads you to believe that?” Hanon finally asked.

Frequently Asked Questions

The novel 'Practical Magic' by Alice Hoffman is far more layered than its popular film adaptation suggests. It's fundamentally a family saga about the Owens women, tracing their lives across generations and focusing on the intense, sometimes painful bond between sisters Sally and Gillian.

A central plot driver is the curse placed on the Owens family long ago: any man who falls in love with an Owens woman meets a tragic end. This curse shapes the sisters' lives profoundly. Sally, seeking a normal life, marries young only to be widowed, while Gillian runs from commitment, dragging them both into a dangerous situation when a man she's involved with dies.

The story isn't just about magic spells; it's about the magic and burden of heritage, the resilience required to break cycles of loneliness, and finding strength in the very identity you tried to escape. The plot moves from their oppressive childhood with their aunts to their separate struggles and eventual reunion, culminating in them using their innate power to confront a literal ghost from their past and, in doing so, lift the family curse on their own terms.
