Upon her return, a mystery danced in her eyes. "Speak," I urged, setting the teacup on the table. "Archer did ask Ethan why he killed Nancy," Alice revealed. "You know why." Exasperated, I pleaded, "God, enough with the suspense." Alice sighed, frustrated by my inability to grasp the hints she was dropping. "Nancy was a KCA member," I said, shaking my head, unable to believe it. "No, that can't be," I protested. "Think about it, Lavina. You met Nancy five years ago after you discovered your Dragon power. Before that, Nancy wasn't in your life," Alice reminded me. "It makes sense."

Nancy's brow furrowed as she explained, "Hank was drunk and ended up in your room a while back. He messed it up by accident. I'll get someone to make you a new one in a few days." Accident?
