Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

“Sir, excuse me for interrupting, but is already ten.” said Nina me over the intercom. “So? what do you want me to do?” I barked. “To go to your fucking meeting!” she exclaimed out of nowhere, and I couldn’t hide the shock that caused me listening to my shy assistant speaking to me like that “I’m so sorry sir, it’s just that... You exasperate me. Please, don’t fire me. I have a house to pay, a cat and triplets and...”

Acre's voice filtered to me but I didn't care, I ignored him "Ocean" I blocked him not wanting to hear his voice. "Ocean, honey is everything ok?" moms voice filtered through "Honey, I can feel your pain, please tell me you're ok" "They took her, I don't know what to do" "Took who son?" “You can sit next to Enzo. “Thank you,” I said as I sat next to him. The food was a lot, then again, the household was large. It tasted really good, better than it looked, actually, and I ate my food as conversation rang out across the table. “Are you serious? Do you know his address? I would like to pay him a visit .” Nico said to Serena “Absolutely not,” she replied “Come on, I just wanna have a chat.” “No fucking way. Plus, I understand his anger. I did cheat first.”

I also went to check the status updates of my friends. When I got to Haniya's update, the first thing I saw made my eyes twitch. It was a picture showing a guy holding the flag of a country - a country I wasn't sure I knew the name of - against his body. The middle of the flag, which was white was stained with the guy's blood. Haniya's caption for that photo was 'pray for Nigeria'.

I still did not even know where my brother was, I couldn’t even hear his voice or catch his scent anymore. Nathan, who was talking to Domenico, both their voices blocked from me due to the beam that surrounded me, was furious as he tried to attack him only to get electrocuted. The bastard couldn’t even fight him like a man. His eyes met mine and he smirked before he looked between the two of us, removing the barrier that blocked his voice

"We have thirty minutes. What do you want to do?" Striker's face filled a different screen. "Roger, text Nik the code." I looked at Nik, at Ryker. "What code?" They both shook their heads. Nik's phone buzzed. She flipped it over, started typing whatever she saw on her screen. A new set of screens popped up. Nario came racing into the room. "I just got the call. Executive Protocol Alpha Four Six One India." Striker smiled. "I knew he was shifty." The camera on his helmet shifted heights quickly. The subdued report of his suppressed firearm sounded just as the spark of light lit up the screen. Someone's camera flickered right before it fell into the Adriatic Sea
