and Anato and his friends fell to their knees in pain. "what did you do to us" Anato asked, then Shiro smiled and answered "it's quite simple, all I did was to walk from my house to school, record the accumulated feeling on my legs then transmit to people like you that hardly walk anywhere". what made this spell very effective was the fact that Shiro's house was very far from school and he ran he the distance every day, and also that it was one of the temporal curses, 'the curse of the hike'. Normally curses were forbidden among students but the disciplinary committee was an exception since the curses allowed them to solve problems without much resistance from their fellow students.

She screamed, making list of the people flinch and younger children cry in fright. "But you know what, I will leave and you will never see me again. Of course I won't leave without a gift for your unborn child, whether male or female, the child shall not experience the feeling of full wolf transformation. You can try to break the curse but you will fail and you will also beg to find me and you will also fail. This is my parting gift to you," she smiled deviously and just within a blink of an eye, Rebecca was gone. ~JASON~

Krys added, but I was still a bit confused. “How do you know that?” I asked. “Look deep into his eyes.” Kole said, pointing to Armen's eyes. “They hold the cursed mark of a serpent biting on its own tail. That is the cursed mark of a shaman witch.” I squinted my eyes, looking deep into Armen's eyes and I could see it too now. It was buried deep in his blue eyes, the mark of a burning serpent eating its own tail. “That wasn't there before. It seems to be only triggered when Ava is around.” Krys observed.

His silence weighed heavy, his thoughts a storm I could not see. For a while, I welcomed the silence. Bits of images I couldn’t make sense flashed in my head—images of the glowing symbols, of the twisted creature, of the figure cloaked in shadow. They were like shards of a nightmare puzzle, missing pieces, lying more disorganised than usual. But one thing was sure, the curse was not some joke. It was alive and it had its sights on us. “Do you think we’re safe now?” The silence was broken by Jameson’s voice.

and he nods while cursing, his shadows spreading. Cursed wraiths, black, smoky creatures with claws and flaming crimson eyes, hiss like agitated snakes as the ground cracks. “Fuck!” I yell, destroying one by flashing light at it. Dante's shadows slice a third, but he's slow and still injured from the vampire world, and Jude's shadows slam another, cracking the rock underneath. “Observe it!” A ghost swipes at my chest as Jude yanks me back and yells. Calix's laugh reverberates as my light burns it, but more come, and the fog is playing tricks on my mind, flashing images of my family members dying. "We are being screwed by it!" Jude grabs hold of my hand as I yell, our friendship getting stron

"Alaric." But what made Siron's blood freeze was the illustration on the next page: Alaric lay in a coffin, but black tendrils grew from his chest, spreading and choking the people around him. And in the corner of the image, there was a symbol, identical to the one on Siron's wrist. "The curse wasn't just a curse," Kit said, his eyes scanning the text. "I... I don't fully understand this language, but there are the words 'verschmelzung', fusion. And 'seele', soul."

It landed strangely, low in my chest, somewhere I didn't have time to examine right now. "What's in there?" I asked. He was quiet for a long moment. The floor beneath us gave another small shudder, the same low groan I'd felt earlier, like the whole house was breathing through something it didn't want to. "Records," he said finally. "Old ones. From before the war." "About the curse?" His eyes sharpened slightly. "How do you know about that?" I opened my hand and held the locket out where he could see it, the small folded paper still tucked inside, the symbol catching the hallway's low light.

I whispered. But Arnold continued mercilessly. “I, Alpha Arnold Reid of the Nightshade Pack…” My vision blurred. “…reject you, Leticia Hales of Frostfall Pack…” The mate bond snapped through my chest like something tearing apart inside me. “…as my Luna.”

Years ago, a witch cast a prophecy over me. She said I was the cursed wolf, an abomination who would bring the pack to ruin. My parents believed it completely. Locked me in the cellar that same night and left me to starve. My older sister, Sia, fought like hell to keep me alive. When the pack came for me, she stood in front of every single one of them, crying as she tried to shield me. "She's not an abomination. She's never hurt anyone." Because of those words, when the Alpha fell for her but still feared me, that so-called abomination, I volunteered for exile. Walked away from the pack forever. Before I left, I gave Sia a charm. Told her, if anyone ever laid a hand on her, just speak into i

Hated every part of it. The curse had stolen everything from me. My freedom. My future. My peace. I slammed my fist into the floor. A crack appeared beneath it. The beast pushed harder. Images flashed before my eyes. Blood. Death. Screaming. A village. Fire Water Then another image appeared. A face. A girl. Smiling. Soft eyes. Dark hair dancing in the wind. The image was blurry. Too blurry. No matter how hard I tried to focus, her face remained just beyond my reach.
