"You still haven't asked how much." Kaelor blinked, pulling himself out of his stupor. "...How much?" The High God snapped his fingers. A heavy leather pouch materialized in the air and landed at Kaelor's feet with a metallic, resonant clink. Corrupted Divine Essence. There was enough inside to restore a fragment of a dying Authority. Enough to let a rankless, forgotten god dream of power again.

Not only did she forget the kindness I'd shown her, but she also gave Jude the green light to dig up my parents' graves and humiliate my only sister. That was when I received an encrypted satellite call. It was from the General, Gunthar Vale.

I snap in a snarky tone. “Fair point, I shall continue to refill your glass then.” “Thank you,” I say as I take another sip, then take another deep breath as my foot taps anxiously against the footrest of my stool. “So, this new God…” “His name is Azadou. God of Malice also known as the Demon God, and the creator of the eyti,” they explain, walking over and placing a plate in front of me along with a fork, but despite the dish looking absolutely delicious, the thought of food entering my stomach right now makes me want to hurl.

He was not at ease at all at the moment. However, a moment later Jody turned to him and said, "So, how do I get him banished from the palace but not get my name tarnished?" Steven breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing the general's words. "Are you ready to hear my plan, General?" Steven just smiled happily at the general's praise. Meanwhile, in another part of the resting place, Bill, the most powerful God of War the Ans De Lou Kingdom ever had, was seen sitting in the garden with his trusted henchman, Andrew.

The general extended his hand to the woman. Aranjo stared with wide eyes at the figure of the man called the General. It was the figure of Vulcan, the God of Fire. Did God also undergo trials in the mortal world because of him? If so, then their soul mate just got here. Because the Emperor had already made sure that the man who went through the ordeal of love with her, would no longer have a soul mate bond in the next life or in the celestial realm. Aranjo is also upset with that God of Fire. Everything that happens to him is more or less because of that God.

she says, almost speaking as if she was there. “That’s horrible. All for power?” I ask sadly. “Some people are full of so much greed nothing can satisfy them, it’s sad but true,” Chris says with an apologetic look on his face. “The Gods love to meddle in human affairs but for the sake of balance they agreed to never revive the dead, but they find loopholes that allow them to save people. Oshmin couldn’t bear to see his good friend die – he was already old as it was – so he blessed Sheng’s children. They were turned into the first nagatas; magnificent snake-like beings with the power to protect their father and their kingdom,” she says proudly.

"If Adelie is Ducroft's Saintess and Denitra is Uriel's Saintess, does that mean I'm your Saintess?" "No, it's not you. It's Marvis's mother." "How cruel. You could've reserved that spot for me." "There isn't a single god in existence that can claim you. You are already Nataroth's Saintess." "Hmm, that makes more sense. Speaking of Nataroth, it seems there is an original god that is still alive." "There…is? Who is it?" "Maowry, the leader of the spirits."

Kian hugs his papa. "Okay, they're here let's start before it gets flooded here." Kaios said when the other deities arrived. Kian's parents stand with Kōri and Feu. Kaios, Selene and Leluna stand up to greet the newcomers. The other deities who arrived are Asili, the deity of the four elements. Water, fire, earth, and wind. Galax, the deity of the stars and time. Lastly, the Sun deity which is also the king of the deities and Leluna's brother, Ijus. Kian and Kaleb are overwhelmed with their presence.

Hades explained, carefully rising from his seat by the computer. “Can we do anything to stop it?” asked the Lord of hell. The king of hell shook his head, “No, I’m afraid not. Her body must learn to cope with her abilities on its own, this is something I cannot interfere with.” “So you are telling me that one of the greatest minds of all time is stuck?” Darkous laughed, mocking his brother. “No. I have one idea, we could always bind her abilities until her body is ready to handle it.” Hades countered, laughing slightly as though his brothers words barley registered.

The Crone said in an impatient voice. “What? That is impossible!” Snapped Richard.“She gave me..” “Oh, shut up! Jamie has the power of two high gods in her veins. Jamie is only mortal in her body, not in her soul.“ The Crone Goddess explained. “But, why is she not awake then?” Demanded Richard. He felt hope stirring in his heart. “Because the Jorōgumo have captured her!” The Crone said.
