A gasp escaped my lips as the light shone on Nana, seated on a chair in the middle of the large room, her mouth gagged and fear written all over her face. A man, dressed in black and in a black mask stood behind her with a gun to her head. "No!" I whispered as I looked on. "So this is the knight in shining armor?" A voice came from my right and I almost jumped out of surprise. There was another man dressed like the first man, sitting on a chair to my right. "Who are you and what do you want?" I asked angrily. "I just want what is mine." His voice was so calm as he spoke. It was eerily calm, like he had done it numerous times, and taken the lives of some unlucky few.

Masaru’s distinctive voice roared, coming from the sky. We tilted our heads up and were stunned to see a pair of demonic figures in the sky, standing atop a small cloud. “We finally caught you, rat.” The gray-skinned one was Masaru, recognizing that gravel-gargling voice. He had a fierce face, sharp fangs, electrifying hair, and two horns. He wore a tattered dark-green skirt tied with a long red sash with a pair of massive Japanese drums hung on his waist and held a small mace in each hand.

Nand, ever the strategist, added, “And now we know more about his tactics. He won’t catch us off guard again.” Rudra nodded, his eyes gleaming with determination. “This fight isn’t over. We’ll regroup, analyze our findings, and come back stronger. The mask man’s days are numbered.” The team worked efficiently, collecting data and ensuring no stone was left unturned. With each passing moment, their resolve grew stronger. They knew the mask man was a formidable foe, but together, they were an unstoppable force. And with Rudra leading them, they would not rest until justice was served.

He said as he sat beside her. *What's the use of wearing the mask when she already saw your face?* He asked himself, but disregarded it to focus on persuading her to take her bath.

What hell am I supposed to do now? He smiled, leaning against the wall. "Maybe the goddess likes you better this way." "Don't play games with me, Liam. Not today." He flung both arms out in front of him. "Okay, okay. Okay. Relax. Let me think." He paced back and forth across his messy cabin, muttering to himself. "We need something quick… straightforward. Maybe—" "Maybe what?" I prompted. "Maybe we cloak you." "Disguise?" I asked.

The masked man moves instead—one step, soft and soundless, toward the living room. Ezra lunges. It happens too fast to track—the blur of Ezra’s body, the flash of the masked man shifting aside, the shudder of impact as Ezra’s shoulder hits the wall. Plaster cracks. Ezra growls. An inhuman, guttural sound. The masked man retreats several feet, hands lifted in a non-threatening gesture. He doesn’t fight back. He doesn’t strike him. He simply stands there… watching me. “Aiden,” he says.

Rumi was already striking and Mas Guntur already knew when he was wearing make up, while me, Mas Guntur had not seen me wearing make up at all. I don't really need to come out of hiding later. The young man had no choice but to tremble like a wet leaf as he fumbled to open the door. It was initially Jordan's idea to wear a mask since the party was changed to a mask party and the objective was to get to Arianna without being noticed. As usual, his tattoo was covered as interlocked his fingers and waited for Jordan that seems to be spending centuries before coming back.
