Zane’s POV He buffed out the smoke, taking in another inhale. “What have you found?” He asked his wife, Octavia. “Nothing much. Nothing is happening over there, just minor stuff and damages.” She responded, taking off her black mask. He watched as she completely undressed herself, left in only her underwear. He whistled, using his hands to call her in. Now, it is time for him to get what he wants. He can deal with any situation later.

“You don’t act like him.” “Thank God.” Zane chuckled. “One Morreau with a God complex is enough. I prefer chaos.” His tone changed. Just slightly. Enough to draw a shiver up her spine. “You’re the little plaything he’s been keeping upstairs,” he murmured. “Raye, right? Or is it Raven? I can never keep track of all the masks in this place.” Her breath caught. He knew. But how much? Zane stepped closer, his voice a whisper now. “Don’t worry. I’m not here to ruin the game. He smiled, and I took a shivering breath. "I am so sorry, Zane..." I mumbled, "You didn´t do anything to me, sweetie..." He said, "But my family should have had intel, keep an eye on those humans... something..." I said, and he sighed. "They couldn´t be looking for something they had no idea was happening." Zane pecked my temple and stole a piece of bacon from my plate. I squinted my eyes, and he chuckled. "By the way, you look pretty." He said, and I smiled. We were wearing casual clothes, but I was already wearing makeup and all.

But he said nothing instead, he held me tight in his arms and rested his head against my chest.
