Aria: Scales of Love
Aria POV
The day before graduation was a strange, surreal blur. My stomach was a constant, churning knot of nervous energy and a strange, unwelcome flicker of excitement. I tried on my cap and gown, the stiff, unflattering fabric a symbol of a future I still couldn’t quite wrap my head around. I was proud, I think. Or, at least, I knew I was supposed to be. But underneath the thin veneer of normalcy, the old, familiar ache was still there, a dull, persistent reminder of everything I had lost.
