After a while Nate asked me something. "Did she tell you about Blake?" He asked me and I nodded. "I thought that he would be returning tonight. Why is that fucking meeting taking so long? Oh by the way are you sure he is not banging some random chick?" I asked him. Okay, I was pissed at Blake. So fucking pissed. Nate gave me a glare. I respect one quality about Nathan and River, they both won't hear anything negative about Blake. They both stand up for him eveytime and they both are his shields.

I nod and go to sit at the back. What's written in the marker on the whiteboard intrigues me. Nate Skylar. I don't have any Scarlett-kind evil thoughts about Nate. But I do think he could be a good friend. He helped me a lot, and mom.

Natalie stifled her laughter when Trish returned a few minutes later with burnt lunch. "Lunch is ready," Trish announced. Nathan dipped one of his leg inside the river and dipped the order, being careful and taking his steps one at a time. He looked at the snake in Roy's hand with a straight face. He grinned, swallowing his spit.

Nate just laughs as he marches down the sand toward the waves sluffing against the shore. “No!” I cry out, laughing in protest as he walks straight into the waves and topples over like a falling building. The chill goes straight through me. He releases me, and I kick off the sand and surface, sputtering and gawking at him. “Why would you do that!? It’s freezing!” Nate laughs, snatches me up in his arms, and kisses me. “It’s good for you! Gets the blood moving. Besides, I had to do something about that insane hard-on you were giving me back there, and cold water was all I could think of.”

Nate spoke hurriedly, "Uncle, I'm calling this time for a small matter ......" In fact, Nate had always been afraid of this uncle, so he didn't call him when he was free.
