Behind the gothic marvel, very close to the back woods is the graveyard where ancient alumni and great, great founders of the academy who practically lived out their miserable lives in the service of the school are buried. If Principal Choi works hard enough, someday she might just end up there with a student perched on her gravestone, smoking a joint.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Nathaniel Albarea, deputy head of Mapleston City’s garrison." Adrian's eyes sparked at the realization of Nathaniel's high status in Mapleston, though he maintained a puzzled expression. "I'm just a commoner running a small art studio. Why would the garrison send someone of your stature here, sir?" Nathaniel chuckled at Adrian's words. "You're quite amusing, Adrian." Adrian gave him a disgruntled look. "What's so funny?" Nathaniel's laughter subsided as he continued, "Your disguise is clever indeed. But there's no need for pretense. I'm aware of what you did at Mapleston Academy last night. You saved four students and defeated a group of monsters."

They came in and sat at the far corner of the room, I noticed almost every girl want to be friends with her, which I don’t understand. “ yea I known what you thinking, it happens every time she enters the school” someone said behind me. “ huh” looked at the girl behind me, the girl has a wavy honey brown hair, she smiled, “name is Bridget packer” “ huh mine Kate Griffin, well yea I was just wondering why everybody well most people let just say that went to friends with her, who is she, like did she run the school or I don’t understand”. But we know to ourselves that in order to grow more, we should learn to move on from our own lives. High school is fine, yes. There are times when you will just realized that life is a bitter sweet series of endless challenges. Challenges that will eventually turns out to be a golden memories.

Lim clears her throat and announces with relish: “Class, we’ve got a transfer student starting today. Please welcome… Mr. Nathaniel Policarpio.” Nathan walks into the classroom wearing a short-sleeved button-down shirt with the CITS logo and the “SHS” patch sewn on the breast pocket. 35 jaws drop and the pencil in Kate’s hand snaps in two.

Nathan Nathan stood stiffly in front of his father’s mahogany desk, the scent of aged leather and ink thick in the air. The Manhattan skyline glittered through the floor-to-ceiling windows, but his father’s gaze was far sharper than any city lights. "I’m hearing talk," his father said, voice low. "About you. About a witch." Nathan kept his expression neutral. "She’s a friend. And I’m taking witchcraft electives. My GPA is still perfect. I’m on track for business school."

"This is Nathaniel Everhart, the new principal of Woodbridge.'' Mr. Hawthorne and Nathaniel shake hands and nod at each other. "This is Sebastian Beaumont, I'm sure you know him from Woodbridge University." Mr. Hawthorne and Sebastian shake hands. "Yeah, he's the one that called me earlier," Mr. Hawthorne says, and Via glares at Sebastian. "Lastly, this is Maximilian Thorne, the new tutor." I shake Mr. Hawthorne's hand, and he then looks at Alexander, confused. "I didn't know Via had a tutor." He looks down at Via. "Me and Sebastian got her one to help her out with school," Alexander says, and Mr. Hawthorne nods.

I had left him in the ice rink; I didn't know when he arrived in the room. "You taking this too?" I whispered as he moved closer. "It's compulsory for everyone in Mystic Heights, failing or not. Only that the failing students have more advantages," Nathan said. "Yay, lucky me," I replied, sarcasm lacing my words. "I'm sure it's nothing you can't handle. It might be less difficult," Nathan added, but I shook my head. I said nothing because I had nothing to say. "Now, I need all of you to pair with someone else..."

Months prior, Alpha Malcolm had presented me with a prestigious opportunity: to serve as an agricultural strategist at Black Widow Pack’s academy farm. The same academy where I had once been a prodigy—where I’d first crossed paths with Nathaniel, and where I’d mastered critical techniques in communal survival and sustainable leadership.

Jason said, his voice casual but with a hint of teasing. Nathaniel glanced at the file, then back at Jason with a slight smirk. “Early? I’m Nathaniel Hawthorne. This is my company. I walk into my office whenever I feel like it.” Jason chuckled, clearly unbothered by Nathaniel’s response. “Of course. Just making sure you’re on top of things,” he teased, folding his arms.
