“I could cut him open—” “No!” The word burst out of me, nearly bringing what was left of my guts up with it. “No, fuck, no.” “Ignore him,” Nate snapped. “He’s a necromancer, of course he always wants to dig up bodies. It’s like fucking Christmas for him.”

He held his arms out wide as he walked amongst the bodies around him, dripping his virus onto their dissolved remains. Neeb rushed up the levels, to begin pushing the bodies over the edge. Their heads shattering against the stripped bones below did nothing to deter Cosmo. He chose his path carefully and muttered to himself as he dripped life back into those who had it stolen from them. “The dead do not betray me” he chanted, as the bodies around him twitched “lift your broken souls from the debris. Trust my stolen heart, kill those who tore you apart.” I heard someone gasp in a lungful of the poisonous air, before another’s mouth fell open; their teeth breaking into pointed shards.

I was a mistake and as result of a relationship with a rich man who rejected me ,som had to take care of me. This is not the first time I had been thrown out of the house to please my mum's boyfriend but what made it different was that I was never to be seen close to the house again...mum had had enough of me..she said. Perhaps she is finally seeing that she doesn’t have to hide anymore. I know shadows, darkness, and death have always been a part of my life. I’ve never feared any of it. I’ve used the shadows and darkness to hide in plain sight when I’m on missions. I command the shadows to teleport me where I want. I can manipulate them to bend to my will. I'm a necromancer. I play with death by stopping people from dying, bringing them back to life if necessary, and even taking their life. My ability as a necromancer allows me to remove souls directly from their bodies. It’s why I get the complex missions.

Necromancers were known for their paranoia and trapping of what little they valued. He now had time and space to secure the tome within his pack while he instructed the transfer of the found reagents to chests and other safe containers. No self-respecting mage left their reagents to the elements or time itself. This necromancer just didn’t have a care for anything or was not properly trained or both, Rolo didn’t know or care. This Hannibal could blow himself up for all he cared. Rolo’s concern was for those that Hannibal killed to get what he wanted and who he blew up with him when the time came.

Duke asserted after swooping dangerously low towards two warships and blowing up their SAMs. "Marlena?" Dad summoned. He kept twisting the jet to avoid the kriplings since bullets would not work on their black smoky form. Sickness pooled in my stomach. My face was downcast and I wanted to vomit. "Alpha, I'm working on it. The necromancer has gotten stronger because of the presence of the shard. He's pulling power from Assad." Marlena sounded tired over the radio. "Dad, I can help." I offered to use my guardians.

I just need to play along until we reach the right spot. I got along with his happy mood until we got to the bed of roses, which seemed to be the least taken care of due to the uneven altitudes of the bushes and the number of weeds underneath. I secretly scanned the place and confirmed that there are no CCTVs left in this area. This place is also dark. I took out my dagger and was about to stab him when he grabbed my hand. "We have to find a way to break the necromancer's hold over the undead, no matter the cost." I nodded, my own determination burning bright within me. "But how?" I asked, my gaze shifting nervously towards the distant sound of the approaching horde. The necromancer's crimson eyes glinted with amusement. "You will never find a way to stop me," it said, its voice a low, guttural rumble. "The undead are mine to command, and soon, this entire world will be under my rule." It raised its hand, and the air crackled with dark energy once more. Elijah, Liam, and I braced ourselves, our weapons ready to face whatever onslaught the necromancer had in store.

I WATCHED MY HANDS stitch up the new corpse on the table. These twins were among the thousands that ended up here since the Nightmare Master has been trying to use my ability to create a knight in your army. Thankfully, the best I can do is those horrendous curfew bots that need both my and Invent’s abilities to keep living. The Nightmare Master was definitely not satisfied, but I don't know what to tell him. I was about halfway finished stitching this man's arm on when I felt the night my master give me back control.
