Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

“Are you okay, Bronx? You look pale. Dave, Honey, can you get Bronx some water?” “Andy… L-... Andy Latmus?” I swallow hard and look at the happy little boy again. “How did you come up with that name?” “One of our Gods, Ma-heegun, came to me in a dream with a beautiful woman. She wore a crown made of the crescent moon. It was a few days before Andy was born. They put the name on my lips. The way they said it was with an unusual accent, though. Almost like it should be spelled with an ‘e’ instead of an ‘a’.” Dave hands me a bottle of water and claps my shoulder, then pulls the little boy out of the high chair and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Andy grabs Dave around the neck and growls when he

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!
Sarah Geer
Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

Paper Hearts: Clashing of Clans

She smiled at him before he grabbed all she’d listed and an extra Snapple for himself. As he set the drinks on the table he asked, “What’s ‘Yanaha’ mean, Zhoni?” She smiled. “That’s the Navajo name I have given to Jaxsen. It means ‘Brave’.” Basil smiled lightly and looked down. “He is really brave, isn’t he?” Basil looked at his hands as he said this, and he felt the blush creeping up into his cheeks.

“ Kartik do you remember that person's name whom they were calling the head man? ” asked Krish while Kartik rubbed his forehead and then said excitedly “ Yeah, I just recalled, his name was Mudrika, I also have heard a few names like Bhola, Mutru, Bhalla... Yeah, I have heard these names there.. ” “ Naksh, do you hear it? You have to search tribe Kuki's men with these names and try to find something more about this nomad group, ” said Krish while Naksh nodded before he left the cabin.

I was never Human

I was never Human

My eyes widened. What the hell was going on? My father smiled. "Yes, exactly. Talako was the name his parents gave him at birth. It was a native american name, one from the Choctaws. His parents were killed, but made sure to keep him safe. They sent him off with a friend of his mother's. To protect him, she renamed him Joseph and raised him as her own, though she always called him by that name in private. It was a way to keep her friend's memory alive and keep him connected to his parents. "Talako" means "eagle". And you know how the test of the story goes."

Diana was the one who answered the question and brightly grinned at Eric, making the guy stare at her. Nohkoma was the owner of Menominee’s Hut, a popular local fast food in town. She was a third degree native Indian of the Menominee tribe, one of the original Indian settlers in Wisconsin. Her name was after a Menominee mythological figure, Nokomis, a wise old grandmother of Manabush, as her late parents were so fond of Menominee legends.

Fake Dating Alpha Hockey Captain

Fake Dating Alpha Hockey Captain

I can feel the blood rush to my face. “Just call me Tala. After all, you are a friend of my son’s,” she says, saving me further embarrassment. “Thatsss…a beautiful name.” My face still feels hot, and my stutter is only making my anxiety worse, which in turn makes my stutter worse. Wolves smell fear, right? Only her face is still soft, still smiling. “Thank you. It derives from a Souix word for the stalking wolf.” “Ssso your N-native…American?”

I replied checking through my wristwatch as I joined Navajo on the bench " Why changing your name to Navajo instead of the usual Elizabeth" I asked with a smile on my face " After my coronation, the Luna and moon goddess demanded I answer a full werewolf name of the Omega pack" Navajo replied looking into my face with a smile " What does Navajo mean cause that name sounds like a deep werewolf name" I asked placing my head on her shoulder " It means songs of the Chief I simply guess" Navajo replied placing her hand on my hair

We hugged each other as I made the arranged for them to stay here with us in the Inn. I sent Sam to collect their luggage and bring it all here. I quickly grabbed my laptop and registered them in Their Stay Indefinate! "What is your full name Mom?" "Rose StormCloud, The happiest woman in the world!" she smiles. Later that night...after getting Mom and Aunt Alma settled into their room. "Did you know that Native people can mind link?" Raven asked me, as I was just getting out of the shower. "Yes, just like vampires, we are all shapeshifters," I confirmed.

“A village that appears only when no one believes in it.” “Does it have a name?” Esi asked. “It didn’t. Until now.” He drew three shapes. > 𓏘𓂀𓋹 The symbols rippled. Became letters. Then syllables. > “Daraní.” Esi’s breath caught. “That’s my great-grandmother’s name.” Tano nodded. “They’re not just rewriting history. They’re pulling names from bloodlines.” “From us.” --- That night, Esi sang by the edge of the sea.

Awakening - Eve Of Eden

Awakening - Eve Of Eden

They look like natives. This isn’t a wild pack. I’ve crossed into forbidden land. Not lawless territory, but governed ground. The reservations around these lands are not human at all. Even the Santos know never to come here. The tribal lands. Forbidden territory for any wolf. Gohz’aan must be the name they give him in their language, whatever this being is. Hex, a name bestowed in fear, maybe… a translation into English? What the hell is he?
