A tear escaped her eye and rolled down her cheeck as she nodded, accepting his feelings, determination, and promise. As was discussed, Naoko and Tadashi joined the training meant for the young children of the tribe. It comprised of mental, spiritual, and physical training. Nothing that was very new to them. Days passed with them working hard. When others played, Naoko and Tadashi continued to train. The locals who saw them could not bear to intrude into their time. Some children watched in wonder.
