I hissed when I saw Nerissa taking a long puff from the lit cigarette crested between her fingers. Of course, she’s the smoker. I was about to continue my game when a thought came to my mind. Using my handbag as a shield, I began to record her. The video barely lasted thirty seconds before I cut it off and returned to my game. Dear Nerissa, you are about to be publicly toasted, I said in my mind, smiling for the first time that morning.

She replied, grinning annoyingly. “Oh yeah.” I replied and turned back to my novel. “Jeez! I’m so happy. Can you believe it? I put you there.” I replied dryly, my attention returning to the book. “And that’s why I’m here today… that was such a coincidence, but a beautiful one at that.
