Called by Fire

Called by Fire

“Bree, what was that?” Brianna was occupied flipping through the first book, so she didn’t answer at first. He saw her shocked expression and got by her side to check the name of the book she was reading. ‘The peacemaker fallacy: waging war as a business strategy’ Nate frowned, trying to make sense out the title. “Bree, what is it?” “Love… it’s about the Council. All of them, look.” She got a few pieces of paper that didn’t belong to any book and showed him what she saw.

His Book club

His Book club

“Since you’re back, are you going to pick the next book?” I blinked. “Me?” “Of course,” she said, smiling. “You’ve been gone. You deserve the honor.” Everyone nodded expectantly. I looked down at the stack of books on the table, my fingers brushing across their covers. My hand paused on a novel about love, identity and societal expectations. This book will give them a glimpse of what I passed through during my absence. I smiled softly. “How about this one?” Brent groaned. “Oh no, not another depressing tragedy. Can’t we read something with a hopeful romance?”

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

Don read the review and said: "He reviewed a different book." Ernest read it. "Yes," he said. "He reviewed the book about cities and missed the argument about persons." "He reviewed the book he would have written," Don said. "Not the book I wrote." He set the review aside. He looked at the fire. The fire was burning at the March intensity—the fire that knew winter was ending but was not yet ready to yield to spring. Don said: "The inside account requires the inside. He read from the outside." He paused. "The outside reading of a book about inside accounts is a legitimate response. He is not wrong to read from outside. He has simply produced the outside account of a book that argues for the i

I Never Hated You

I Never Hated You

For someone who always knew what to say even in unexpected situations, my mind was blank, and it was still blank when Dante opened the door, looking hotter than anything in the world with that apron. Hello everyone, hope everyone's enjoying the book? Feel free to tell me what you think is lacking and how you think I can make up for it. I am even confused right now about where the story is going. I'm just going with the flow, but your suggestions will really really help. Also, please leave a review and a comment, and please support the book. It will really mean a lot to me if you do. Love you guys, and continue reading.

Midnight Debt: Never His, Always His

Midnight Debt: Never His, Always His

I mostly just needed something to do with my hands, something to occupy my mind so it wouldn’t keep replaying that strange moment in the kitchen from yesterday morning. I stood in front of the tall oak bookshelf, slowly sliding books back into their places. The pack’s library was enormous and beautiful, filled with old leather-bound volumes that probably cost more than my family’s entire house. Yet most of them looked untouched. Just like everything else in this place, expensive, perfect, and cold. I was so focused on arranging the books by height that I didn’t hear him enter the room. “Reina.” His deep voice cut through the quiet like a blade.

THE HEIRESS HE NEVER KNEW

BLURB For three years, Seraphina gave everything she had to a man who never saw her clearly. She walked out as his invisible wife and came back as Seraphina Vaughn, the hidden heiress of the most powerful family in the country. The woman two dangerous older brothers would tear the world apart for, the woman every powerful man in the city now wants standing beside him. Damian thought she would come back within a week; bu

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

The reviews began arriving on Thursday. Patricia Osei had told me to read them but not to organize my understanding of the book around them because the book had been written for the women in the long middle and the women in the long middle were not the reviewers. The reviewers were the first room the book passed through on its way to the people it was for. The first review I read was from a literary publication that described the book as unflinching and specific and written with the particular authority of someone who had lived inside the thing she was describing rather than observing it from outside.

This is the kind of story that lingers in your mind long after you close the app. The story deserves far more recognition than it's getting because the author knows exactly how to keep readers emotionally hostage....️

To anyone settling for crumbs of love. I would recommend this story. Natalie proved that losing someone who never valued you isn’t a loss…it’s freedom. One of the most emotionally satisfying stories I’ve read so far. Once again I recommend reading this blockbuster story. Kudos to the author.

The Wife Swap

The Wife Swap

“It’s this.” Liv’s gaze dropped to the book, recognition flaring in her expression. “A hard copy of your first book! And what’s wrong with it?” “It was delivered to the mansion this morning,” I explained, my voice low, as if the very act of speaking it would summon whatever dark force was at play. “I don’t even know how they found it, but it feels… ominous.” Liv picked up the book, turning it over in her hands. “Who sent it?” “I have no idea,” I admitted, the knot in my stomach tightening. “There was no name, no return address, nothing. Just a note inside that said, ‘Some things never leave us, do they? Just like first love.’”
