The Praelia Chronicles: Hope's Despair is set in a dystopian fantasy world. Magical creatures were wiped out in a great war hundreds of years ago. Society has been structured into the upper, middle, and lower classes to keep the citizens in order. Every year, those of the lower classes wait in desperate anticipation hoping to be chosen during the reaping to be elevated to a higher class. Werewolf romance was not really my taste but this one is interesting. Not only did it mention about the most talked about alphas but it tackled the other positions such as those who protect the pack during travel. It's new knowledge for me so I very much like it. Plus, the hunt is surely exciting.

5 stars so doesn’t get shoved to the bottom. Love hunt idea, great details, well written. I got to certain part, that didn’t seem to flow with the story line. I didn’t like that. No mention, until that part, of their wolf. Thats strange. So I stopped reading.

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

In the new world we had built, the Council was gone, the Spires were ruins, and the people were free—but the man who had bought me, protected me, and loved me was the price of the ticket. I stood in the middle of a new Lagos, a city built on the ruins of the old, but the space beside me was empty. I looked at my hand. There was no "Obsidian-Violet." Just the scars of a copywriter who had seen the end of the world and decided to write a different ending. I walked through the new Rust-District, the people looking at me with a strange sense of recognition, though they didn't know my name. I reached the harbor, where a single, tattered skiff was docked.

The Lycan’s Fated Mate

The Lycan’s Fated Mate

And when he opened them, his expression was that of a man who had understood what should never have been understood. “Kayno doesn’t want control.” “Then what does he want?” Sasha murmured, his voice choked. Dmitry turned to both of them, his blue eyes like Arctic ice. “Absolute balance.” “And if that balance means extinguishing those who play at being gods?” Alexei murmured. “Then he will do it,” Dmitry answered. “One by one. Without mercy. Without survivors.” The silence returned. But this time, there was no peace in it. Only the certainty that the world had changed. And that a new order was forming. One that did not forgive. One that judged with the very essence of existence itself. And wh

Destiny

Destiny

she replied, standing up and walking to the door, which she closed gently. "I need to escape from here," I said to myself. The door opened, and Beelzebub entered with a frown on his face. "Have you thought about it yet?" he asked with a frown. "There is nothing to think about," I said. "Three days from now, whether you are ready or not, I will turn you into one of us," he roared. "Oh, Destiny, nobody will come to rescue you. They tried, really tried, but they can't find you anymore. If you join me now, we can rule the whole world, and you can regain your freedom," he added, slamming the door behind him.

Rewriting the Destiny for Us

Rewriting the Destiny for Us

It only became clear on a night as ordinary as any other. She scrolled through Mason's latest social media post, showing a video of a little puppy. Her gaze softened, though a sudden wave of drowsiness hit her hard. In that hazy moment, she felt like a bystander, watching an entirely different life unfold. In that life, her parents had forced her back to the Kains. She regained her memories sooner than she had in this life and married Mason. Not long after, Mason was diagnosed with ALS, but unlike in reality, he didn't see it as a burden. Instead, he smiled and said he would face it together with her.

Engagement Hijacked, Destiny Rewritten

Engagement Hijacked, Destiny Rewritten

"I used to resent the world for how cruel it was to me, but now I don't because you came into my life. From the moment I first saw you, I decided to forgive the past." In the candlelight, the conviction in his eyes felt like it could swallow me whole. … On my way to inspect the shops, I ran into Rhea, who had a slightly rounded belly. Flint was treating her a bit better for the pup's sake. "Why are you out here all by yourself, Astrid? That's so pitiful," she drawled loudly, looking at Flint as if afraid no one would notice she had a he-wolf by her side. I tilted my head and replied, "Drakon has been busy with clan affairs. He doesn't have as much free time as Flint. I must admit that I'm en

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

"Congratulation warlocks. You officially entered Dystopia. Your journey starts here, and may the odds be at your favor. Good bye" After saying her piece, the rocky shore submerged in the water little by little, together with Veronica who was sitting on it. "So,...shall we?" Nike looked at the rest of the group, and they nodded in response to his question. Seeing Dystopia for the first time, they can't help but feel slightly perplex. Since they heard that it was an ancient territory, they thought it would look like dilapidated or barren, just like how an abandoned place would normally look like. But contrary to their expectation, the place looks so lively and it doesn't look like it was left

Dawn of the Gatekeepers

Dawn of the Gatekeepers

2459 January 22 Earth Prime, Within the Terra System. “I always hated the concept of fate. The concept that no matter what we do in life a pre-ordained destiny is awaiting us all. And in this case, it was the destruction of the society I was once a part of. In the beginning, I didn't think it would ever get this far. That so many of us would be killed because of one man's vision. A vision of a perfect world that could never be. A world that would be built upon the backs of those who sought to preserve freedom and justice. A world where evil would be the governing force and those who were like me would be nothing but a memory.”

Reluctant Companion: Futuristic Dark Romance

Reluctant Companion: Futuristic Dark Romance

“You’re welcome, but for what?” “Everything.” That, along with the deeper kiss he pressed to her lips, was answer enough. ****** Author’s Notes I love futuristic, post-apocalyptic, and/or dystopian fiction. I wouldn’t want to live it, of course, but it’s fun to imagine how bad things could get, and how good people would function in the aftermath. In this book, I also explored a bit how harsh times make even good people do some questionable things. Can you forgive a good character if he (or she) does something morally ambiguous for the ones they love? I like complex characters and questions like that. I hope I gave a modicum of competency to exploring the idea.
