Atop the highest bluff loomed Greystone Keep, the academy’s ancient fortress, built from dark stone that drank in the sun’s weak morning rays. We were ushered off the boat in lines. Professors barked dorm placements as students grabbed their bags. “Dorm 3A: Zara Blackwood and Alexandra Monroe,” called Professor Kieran. “Dorm 3B: Atlas King and Jace King.” I felt Atlas’s eyes on me as I grabbed my canvas duffel from the luggage cart. Our gazes met across the tide-drenched jetty. His expression was unreadable, shadows flickering under his lashes. Jace walked past him, bumping his shoulder intentionally. Atlas’s lips curled into a snarl, but he said nothing.

Alex exclaimed. "Doesn't Kath and your girlfriend lives in the same dormitory? You didn't see them when you fetch your girlfriend?" Alex added. "Actually there are about three girl's dormitory in the whole campus. Kath's dormitory is near the the park while Philips girlfriends' dormitory is in the opposite direction." Nick quickly said. "Where are they? I'm really starving already. Can we just order our food already?"Alex said. After a short while, a loud voice was filling the whole cafeteria getting the other people's attention. Nana was being so loud while calling at Grey and his friends. Grey and the other's noticed her loud shrieking voice.

ARDEN “Finally,” I sighed in relief as I reached my dorm. I gazed at the semi-tall building before me. With its seven floors, it stood out as a bit more worn compared to the rest of the campus infrastructure. But I can’t complain; it was the most affordable option available. Stepping through the door, I was met with an interior that was even worse than the exterior. Torn couches and broken tables filled the shared area, remnants of what seemed like multiple fights that had occurred without any effort to repair.

Especially not some nobody nineteen-year-old. There was a soft knock then Emma stepped in, “Here's it ma'am.” She said, keeping the file on my table. "Good." I opened it and started flipping. It has everything about Lena, her photos, class schedule, parents' names, dorm address. I raised a brow. "She's still in on-campus housing?" Emma nodded. "The private dorms. Section C." "How disappointing." I slammed the file shut and stood. "Tell the driver I’m leaving."

The noise of the crowd faded with every step we took. Finally, we stopped at a tall dormitory building that looked newer than the ancient structures surrounding it. Sleek. Quiet. Tucked away from the noisy student plazas. Miles turned toward me, smile softening again. “This is your new dorm,” he said gently. “It’s quiet here. The others won’t bother you.” I nodded numbly, the ache of everything still twisting under my ribs. Miles studied me for a long second, then leaned closer. “If you ever need anything… find me. I’m on the top floor. Always.”

There was also a wild preserve at the back of the main Science building opening to the forest where several animal species, mostly endangered, were kept at large. Next to the Science department's building was a high tower-- The Technology Department building. It is a very modern building, 18 floors high, that contrasted with the rest of the surroundings. Several odd looking vehicles were parked in front, one of which had its hood open and was being fixed by a group of students. The dorms were also modern high-rise condominium style buildings. The two new friends now head to the east, where Dorin immediately found the steep roof of the old Victorian dormitory jutting from the tops of the tree

" I settled in a new dormitory now, I have to look for a convenient place close to it," Richard answered. "Which dormitory is that?" Janet asked. "Block D," he replied. "Wow! No wonder you came late today," she replied. "Yes is far from here as you can see," Richard said.
